🌊💦 Pack 818 Hits the Pool! 💦🌊

Last week our Scouts made a splash completing the Swimming Adventure! 🏊‍♂️🐾 The kids had a blast building confidence in the water, learning important swimming skills, and—of course—having fun with their friends.

A huge shout-out to our leaders and parents for making this adventure possible. 👏 We’re so proud of our Scouts for diving in and giving it their all! 💙💛

🎣 Fishing, Fun, and Learning with Aynor Cub Scouts! 🌿🐟

Today our Cub Scouts from Pack 818 enjoyed an unforgettable fishing trip adventure—full of excitement, learning, and hands-on experience in the great outdoors!

Not only did the Scouts practice essential fishing techniques and outdoor skills, but they also learned about wildlife preservation and responsible resource management. From identifying native fish species to understanding the importance of conservation, these young adventurers gained valuable lessons they’ll carry with them for life.

A big thank you to our volunteers and leaders who made this trip both educational and fun! 🌞🏕️

🛠️ Cub Scout Pack 818 Takes on The Home Depot! 🛠️

Today, our Scouts from Aynor Pack 818 rolled up their sleeves and got hands-on at The Home Depot Building Center! With hammers in hand and aprons on, they learned new woodworking skills and built some awesome projects with the help of the amazing Home Depot team.

We’re so proud of our Scouts for their hard work, focus, and creativity — and a huge thank you to The Home Depot for giving our Pack such a fun and educational experience!

This past Monday, Cub Scout Pack 818 had the honor of performing a flag retirement ceremony, paying our respects to our nation and the symbol that represents it.

Our Scouts learned the importance of treating the American flag with dignity and how retiring a flag properly is a powerful way to show our gratitude for the freedoms we enjoy. Moments like these teach our youth what it means to be a good American—respect, responsibility, and pride in our country.

We are proud of our Scouts for stepping up with reverence and heart.

**🚨🏕️ Superhero Weekend at the 2025 Cub-A-Ree! 🏕️🚨**

This weekend, **Aynor Cub Scout Pack 818** had an **amazing** time at **Bonnie Bay Blueberry Farms** for the **2025 Cub-A-Ree Camp Out!** With a **superhero theme**, we honored our **real-life heroes—first responders**—while learning about **American values, teamwork, and outdoor skills.**

From setting up camp to competing in challenges, our Scouts showed **bravery, leadership, and Scout spirit.** They learned **fire safety from firefighters, first-aid from EMTs, and discipline from law enforcement officers**—all while having a **blast** with games, stories, and skits.

The **turnout was incredible**, and the memories made will last a lifetime. Huge thanks to our **volunteers, families, and first responders** who made this event possible! **Pack 818 is growing stronger every day, and this weekend proved why Scouting is so important!**
