Hanover Juneteenth Festival at Randolph Macon in Ashland this Saturday
Food and various Merchandise vendors on site
10AM- A Hanover Black History Skit, Deacon Roger Brown is coordinating this and your own Rev. Scott Bray will portray Rev. Leroy Bray of the Richmond 34 in the skit. You will hear about Lester Jackson of New Chestnut Baptist who was a MLB player and organized a group to go to the March on Washington. The Hanover 8 who integrated our High schools with the only 3 remaining out of Rock Hill Baptist will be with us. Jock Jones out of Brown Grove will be with us as the first Black NFL player from Hanover, Lucian Hunter from First Union will be portrayed.. Come out and be there for the gospel singing or the Perry's out of First Baptist Elmont who will be a part of this skit.

Jasmine Bates: Understanding and Addressing Racial Trauma ( your students who attend Hanover County schools deal with this on a daily basis. they have become good at hiding it, we need to know how to address it).
Kenneth Feldt: The Challenge of Christian Nationalism 9 we need to understand why so many are accepting false interpretations of the Bible)

The Washington Commanders Legend, Mr. Tim Hightower will be with us to pass out books to all children there and to sign autographs. Jock Jones of the Cleveland Browns will be there to sign autographs as well
