St David Aylett St. David's is an Episcopal historical church filled with a small loving family and growing Sunday school. Our mission is to love and serve our community.

Saint David is part of the Episcopal Diocese of Virginia. We are a long lived parish (approx 150 years) that has a unique gift of nurturing children with an effective ministry of love and challenge. Located on West River road, just steps from Route 360, we are nestled on the banks of the Mattaponi river. We take advantage of this location for our Easter Sunrise Service. Our cemetery, adjacent to t

he church is where such notables as Colonel Aylett, for whom the area is named, and Patrick Henry's daughter Varina are buried. They were joined by many of our devoted supporters over the years.
