Tomorrow is Pentecost! Wear your red in honor and expectation of the fire of the Spirit falling upon His people here at Epworth Methodist Church of Aylett.

See you at 9 am for an amazing Pentecost service, with a special treat from the Epworth Choir. Then, join us at 6:30pm for a potluck meal and a musical celebration with Friends Gather Here as we launch Epworth Ablaze | a bi-monthly meal and music to warm the soul.

Y'all come on out for an evening of amazing joy. We figured Pentecost was a good day to kick off our Epworth Ablaze series with a Gospel Hoedown!

Potluck dinner starts at 6:30. A wonderful time of musical worship will follow with FRIENDS GATHER HERE.

Bring your friends and neighbors, bring your favorite dish, come out for a night of making a joyful noise.

Morning, noon, and night. Now through Pentecost and beyond, until the Lord pours out on us...

Lord, I stand naked before you. I have no power of my own, and You see my deepest parts. Yet, You have called me with hope, with glory, with power, to be Your witness. So, Lord, today I wait in expectation for the day when You send the Holy Spirit to baptize me with fire and power and the hope that the world needs. May it be unto me as You have said. Amen.
