Last night, the voters of the town of Ayer approved the article to transfer the cemetery to the town. This is the start of a new era for the cemetery.

Thank you to all who have served as Directors and Officers over the years. It was challenging to maintain the cemetery with limited resources and administer the regulations to insure a peaceful, respectful final resting place for our town. Thank you to our Superintendent of 22 years, David Dean. Nearly 200 full burials and over 100 ash burials, all dug by hand in addition to foundations and other needed maintenance. Job well done!

The trash barrels have been removed for the winter to allow for snow removal. Please do not dump trash by the faucets but bring it home with you instead. Help us keep our cemetery clean.
