Our primary scripture will be from Matthew chapter 9, in which Jesus offers grace to a variety of people and they respond by putting their faith in him, becoming People of Faith. No matter where we find ourselves in life, Jesus invites us to put our faith in him. We will be receiving Holy Communion this Sunday, and all are welcome at the table of Christ to receive his grace.

On Pentecost Sunday, we remember the day that God poured out the Holy Spirit on the first disciples of Jesus and we celebrate the presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives today. Our sanctuary fabrics and banners are red this Sunday, and we invite those who will be attending church to wear red, orange or yellow, the colors of fire.
