It was Graduation Sunday today. Three high school grads 🧑‍🎓👩‍🎓👩‍🎓 and one college grad👩‍🎓. We recognized and honored them in worship ✝️ and then the Deacons hosted a strawberry 🍓 luncheon. May God bless and lead them into their new futures.

Join us in worship this upcoming 2nd Sunday after Pentecost. We will be recognizing and honoring our four graduates. Pastor Lynn's message is entitled "Rooted and Ready for the Journey Ahead" as she applies Joshua 1:1-9 to both our graduates and the people in the pews. ✝️ God promises to go with us even in uncertain times. Following worship the Deacons are hosting a strawberry 🍓 social. ALL are welcome. If you are looking for a church family, give us a try! Worship begins at 11:00.

Our neighboring Presbytery of Kiskiminetas is in Africa this week. 1,000 people in worship! Praise God!

School is almost out and it is that time again. For the 3rd year our Avonmore churches have partnered together with the Westmoreland Food Bank to provide free grab and go breakfasts and lunches 5 days a week for 8 weeks. It was a glorifying Trinity Sunday. We celebrated the Trinity especially through the Sacrament of Baptism. ✝️ May God bless this new child who has entered His Kingdom.🕊

The wind blew and the Holy Spirit was upon us in this morning's worship service on this Day of Pentecost. 🔥 Many members were red ❤ and some wore patriotic shirts to commemorate Memorial Day 🇺🇸. We celebrated the Sacrament of the Lord's Supper as Jesus had promised he would send a helper to us and he sent the Holy Spirit. ✝️
