What do you do when life feels uncertain and you don’t know who to trust? Call on Jesus!

This Sunday, Pastor Derek reminded us through Jeremiah 33:3 and Psalm 118 that God is our refuge, strength, and salvation in the middle of life’s uncertainties. While the world offers countless voices competing for our attention, we can trust the One who promises to hear us when we call on Him.

Even when we feel surrounded by trouble, fear, or unanswered questions, God is still at work. His plans are greater than our present circumstances, and His love for us never fails.

When you don’t know who to trust, call on Jesus. Make Him your first call, your favorite call, and your source of hope!

We had a wonderful time worshiping together and declaring the goodness of God. Whatever you’re facing this week, remember: you are in the hands of Almighty God!

There Is Power in the Name of Jesus!

No matter what you’re facing today, remember that nothing is impossible for our God! Whether you need healing, peace, strength, or a reminder of His faithfulness, we can bring every need to Him in prayer and trust Him to do what only He can do.

Take a moment to listen to “In Jesus Name (God of Possible)” by Katy Nichole and let it encourage your heart and strengthen your faith.

This Sunday, Pastor Derek began a new series, “I Called on the Lord,” from Psalm 118. We were reminded that when life puts us in a tight spot, our first call should be to God.

Too often, we try to fix things ourselves or wait until we have everything together before we pray. But Psalm 118 reminds us that His mercy endures forever, and we can call on Him right in the middle of our trouble.

God may not always remove the situation immediately, but He promises to be with us through it. When we call on Him, He answers, He strengthens us, and He brings us from a tight place into a broad place.

When you're in trouble, don't wait until you have it all figured out. Call on the Lord. He is faithful, He is with you, and His mercy endures forever.

This Sunday, we were reminded of the danger of comparison and how easily it can take our eyes off Jesus.
In John 21, Peter asked Jesus, “What about him?” Instead of explaining someone else’s calling, Jesus simply told Peter, “You follow Me.”

Comparison can steal our focus, our calling, and even the truth. When we constantly look at what others are doing, we can lose sight of what Jesus has called us to do.
We were challenged to keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, embrace the calling He has given each of us, and walk together as a church that loves and supports one another.
Don’t worry about them. Don’t worry about her. Don’t worry about him. You follow Jesus.
Let’s keep our eyes on Him and move forward together!
