Hello all!

ECHO will be making food for Family Night this upcoming Sunday. We'll be meeting at 3:45pm in the gym (the side entrance into the church that leads into the gym will be open for entry). We'll be making Spaghetti for the families!

Everything needed to make the food will be ready to go, all students have to do is come willing to serve!

Those that want to cook can help out with that, and those that don't want to cook can assist in setting up tables and chairs.

Any student 7th-12th grade that wants to be a part of this is welcome to join us!

We'll plan on doing clean up 5:30-6:30pm after individual Bible study/small groups are dismissed. 6:30pm will be ECHO's end time.

No Echo or Family Night this evening.

We're back next week at 4:30pm in the gym for dinner and ECHO after at 5:30pm in the basement.

September 18th we'll be making dinner for Family Night. Students who are available on the 18th, please come to the gym at 3:45pm for set up.

Reminders will continue to be posted throughout the next few weeks!

There will be no ECHO or Family Night meeting this upcoming Sunday evening. We will be back again next Sunday, with dinner at 4:30pm, and ECHO 5:30-6:30pm in the Youth Basement.

Youth will also be making food for Family Night on Sept. 18th. We will need assistance putting up tables, chairs, and food preparation.

If your student is interested in participating, please arrive at 3:45pm at the church gym area. We will clean up after everyone finishes eating, with ECHO ending at 6:30pm.

ECHO is serving at Sheltering Wings this upcoming Sunday!!

Sheltering Wings is a Christian non-profit formed with the mission of providing emergency housing for survivors escaping domestic violence.

We'll eat dinner in the gym, then at around 5:10 we'll pile into the church van and drive to Sheltering Wings (located a few miles away from the church). We plan to be there for about an hour, then arrive back at the church at 6:30pm.

We plan to pull some weeds around the shelter and perform basic lawncare tasks (depending on weather).

We'll have work gloves for the students, but feel free to bring a pair of your own if you'd like.

Reminder that we have dinner in the gym right now, 4:30-5:15pm. Then at 5:15pm we will be heading out to Avon Township Park for some disc golf!!

There will be discs provided if you do not own one, but if you'd prefer to use one of your own discs, feel free to bring it!!

IGGY is arriving on September 8th!!

IGGY is an afterschool program for 5th/6th graders that occurs Thursdays (when Avon schools are in session) from 2:15-5:15pm.

This year IGGY will be focusing on learning experiences/opportunities for the students to learn life skills or unique hobbies. So far we have cooking, baking, technology, tools, a trip to a Christian health clinic, and more on the Fall semester schedule!

ECHO is meeting for Family Night this upcoming Sunday 8.21.2022

We'll be eating dinner with the Families of Avon UMC at 4:30pm in the gym, then walking over to Avon Township Park to play some Disc Golf at 5:15pm. Students will be back at the church at 6:30pm.

We have plenty of discs available for the students to use. However, they are welcome to bring their own if they disc golf as a hobby.

ECHO will be meeting for Family Night this tomorrow!

Come join us for a meal at 4:30pm in the gym, and ECHO will be in the basement starting at 5:30pm and lasting until 6:30pm.

On Aug. 21st, ECHO will be going disc golfing at Avon Township Park (across from the church)

On Aug. 28th, ECHO will be headed to Sheltering Wings again to serve! More information to come regarding the specific project we will be doing.

FAMILY NIGHTS ARE STARTING THIS UPCOMING SUNDAY!!

Arrive at the Gym at 4:30pm, eat some delicious food, enjoy community, and join a group for Bible study and other programming.

Everyone is invited, there are a lot of study groups that focus on deep discussions of the Bible, analyzing music and songs utilized in worship, a girls Bible study, Children Ministry groups, Momentum youth group (5th-6th grade students) and ECHO Youth Group (7th-12th grade students)

We're looking forward to having you join us, and feel free to invite your neighbors or friends for a great time of fellowship.

STARTING AUGUST 7TH-----

7th-12th Grade Sunday School will be occurring 9:30-10:30 in the Youth Basement!

***At 9:15am Aug. 7th there will be a very brief summary of what to expect regarding Sunday Schools this year with James down in the Youth Basement 5th-12th grade. This will last for 15 minutes, then students will be able to attend Sunday School at 9:30, and parents can attend the Worship Service. This is brief information session is only occurring Aug. 7th, however 7th-12th Sunday School is expected to continue meeting at 9:30am until further notice***
