One of the first responsibilities given to humanity in Scripture was to care for creation. Today is a reminder that stewardship can be found in simple acts of gratitude and care for the world around us.

The kids are ready for summer. Unfortunately, the playground isn't. 🤦

Just as summer break begins and the playground should be getting its busiest workout of the year, we've had to temporarily close it due to a safety concern.

The playground will remain closed until repairs can be completed. We know this is disappointing, especially for our youngest visitors, but keeping everyone safe has to come first.

Thank you for your patience and understanding. We'll be just as excited as the kids when it's ready to reopen! Please respect the closure signs and help us keep everyone safe.

Last night, Cornerstone Preschool held their graduation ceremony for their wonderful Pre-K students. Congratulations, kids! We know you're going to fill this world with so much brightness!

We also recognize another milestone: the retirement of longtime Cornerstone Director, Julie Wasserman. ALPC thanks Ms. Wasserman for her time and commitment to the school, the children, and this church. Thank you for the love and care you poured into Cornerstone over the years.

As one class takes its first steps into a new adventure, so does Ms. Wasserman. Congratulations, and best wishes on the journey ahead!
