Services at Christ Chapel at 9 AM with coffee fellowship after; this is a small, intimate, casual, liturgical, and very friendly service. Sunday School for all ages at 10:15 at Bethel Ericksdahl, followed by 11 AM worship at Bethel. Worship at Bethel is more formal, in a more elegant setting, with a larger group, but still liturgical and friendly. We strive to welcome you and make you feel at home at either location. Why are we investing as NT-NL Synod, ELCA in our AI Assistant "Lutherbot"? Because it is another way we connect with and share who we are. People are willing to ask an AI bot questions they won't ask a person, it is a way in, and grateful for our work together doing this innovation...

Pastor Cheryl Herreid built her church's chat assistant to answer the way she would from the pulpit: with grace, not gatekeeping.

So, when a couple, both previously divorced, asked LutherBot on Christ the Servant Lutheran's website if they'd still be welcome, the church's real answer was ready and waiting. They didn't have to work up the courage to ask a person first.

The couple came. They found their way into the pews and found the belonging that affirming response had pointed them toward.
