From the Desk of Apostle Sam C. Long III
To the people of God, to the weary worker, to the praying mother, to the burdened father, to the young person trying to hold on, and to every believer facing uncertain times:
We are living in days where many hearts are failing because of fear. The economy is shaking. Prices continue to rise. Gas, food, rent, and daily necessities have become burdensome to many families. Some are facing lack, disappointment, betrayal, loneliness, and spiritual warfare all at the same time. Neighbors are turning against neighbors. Friends have become distant. Families are strained. The spirit of division, anger, and confusion is raging in the earth.
But hear the Word of the Lord:
“God is still God.”
The Lord has not lost His power, His authority, nor His ability to provide for His people. Heaven is not in a recession. God still opens doors no man can shut. He still makes ways out of no way. He still sends ravens to feed His prophets. He still causes oil not to fail and meal barrels not to run empty.
The Bible declares in Psalm 37:
“I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.”
That means even in famine, God preserves His people.
When there was famine in Egypt, God had already prepared Joseph. When the brook dried up for Elijah, God already had a widow assigned. When the disciples thought they would starve in the wilderness, Jesus multiplied what looked insufficient.
Your present condition is not your final conclusion.
The enemy wants believers to panic, quit, become bitter, retaliate, and lose faith. But this is the hour where the true Church must stand in boldness, prayer, holiness, wisdom, and unity. We cannot afford to let frustration turn into carnality. Everybody fighting you is not your enemy. Some people are broken, fearful, and spiritually blind. Do not allow the warfare around you to poison the anointing within you.
The Lord says in Isaiah:
“When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him.”
And again in Habakkuk:
“Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines… yet I will rejoice in the Lord.”
This is not the season to stop praying. This is not the season to stop fasting. This is not the season to stop trusting God.
This is the hour to tighten your grip on Heaven.
God is raising up a remnant that will not bow to fear, compromise, witchcraft, corruption, or unbelief. There is still power in the blood of Jesus. There is still authority in prayer. There is still victory in holiness. There is still protection in obedience.
Some of you have cried secretly because you do not know how things will work out. But the Lord told me to remind you:
He is Jehovah Jireh — the Lord who provides. He is Jehovah Shalom — the Lord our peace. He is Jehovah Nissi — the Lord our banner in battle.
You may not have many resources, but if you still have God, you still have hope.
Do not measure your future by your current bank account. Do not measure your destiny by this temporary struggle. Do not measure God by what the economy is doing.
The systems of man may fail, but the Kingdom of God cannot collapse.
In these last and evil days, we must return to the foundations:
Prayer
Consecration
Sound doctrine
Love
Faith
Obedience
Forgiveness
Spiritual discernment
The days ahead will require oil in your lamp. Church attendance alone will not sustain you. We need a real relationship with God. We need discernment. We need endurance. We need the Holy Ghost.
And remember this: The darker the night becomes, the brighter the true light shines.
God has not abandoned His people. Revival can still come. Miracles can still happen. Families can still be restored. The sick can still recover. Souls can still be saved. And the Church will still rise in power.
Stand strong. Stay faithful. Guard your spirit. Protect your peace. Keep your hands clean and your heart pure before God.
The Lord is still with us.
“Be not weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” — Galatians
