Hey folks, I look forward to seeing you all tomorrow morning as we worship together! As you know we will be enjoying our 5th Sunday Fellowship following the service. I do enjoy this special time when we get a little more time to share and visit! Also, guests are welcome, and encouraged to enjoy this time with us also!
Prepare your soul to receive the word, your heart to fellowship, and your belly to enjoy the great food!
I know this is a week earlier than we usually do the 5th Sunday thing, and I want to thank you all for allowing us to tend to some business out Lubbock way. You have allowed us to break the trip up so that I can travel a little easier as I recover from the surgery. It is very much appreciated! We will return home later this week, Lord willing!

📚✏️ Back to School Prayer, Blessing & Youth Breakfast at Avery Missionary Baptist Church! 🙏💙

What a sweet morning at Avery Missionary Baptist Church as we gathered together to pray over our students, teachers, administrators, and families as a new school year begins!

We shared breakfast, fellowship, laughter, and most importantly, lifted our school community up in prayer. ❤️

From the first-day jitters to the big transitions, we are reminded that we don’t walk into a new school year alone. Our church, our families, and our community are here to support and encourage one another every step of the way.

“Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established.”

We are so blessed to live in a community where faith is embraced, our children are loved, and the school and community truly go hand in hand.
