Food for Thought today....Did you know that in the Bible, it says when Jesus spoke to demons, they obeyed him every time and without hesitation. Instantly it says. Question of the day is then, when Jesus speaks to you, why do you have to think about it? Just obey...Let that sink in a little. Happy Thursday.

How well do you trust your GPS system?

This morning I went to pick up a new rooster for my flock. I found him on Facebook Marketplace. Yeah, you know the place. Type in what you need or want and then meet somewhere to pick it up. I was in need of a rooster and found one. I talked with the lady and she gave me her address and we planned to meet. As I got into my car I confidently typed in the coordinates in my GPS app on my phone. As I went through my journey, I passed through familiar areas and even waved at a few people I knew. Then, it took me on the highway and down some roads, finally taking me down a gravel road that at times were a little questionable. You know the ones. I almost turned around twice. But, I needed to reach my destination to get what I planned to get. I even made a wrong turn but my GPS patiently showed me how to turn around and get back on the right path. After I arrived at my destination and picked up my cute little guy, I headed home.

As I drove home, I thought how God does the same thing for us. He has set a destination of salvation for us and it even takes us down familiar and unfamiliar paths. Gravel roads, sharp turns, and even some heavy scary storms sometimes. The key to this GPS system "God's Plan for Salvation" is to trust Him.... Even though I wasn't quite sure about some turns, I trusted my GPS would get me to my rooster. IF you trust God's GPS you will get to where He has planned for you to go since Adam was created. HEAVEN with Him. Isnt that wonderful....If you find yourself lost or down the wrong path, He will patiently turn you around and get you back on the right path every single time because He loves us that much. He will being you to you destination. All you have to do is trust Him. Best part is, He doesn't need satellite navigation to lead you. Nope, God uses faith. Crazy cool. Do you trust God as much as you do your GPS app? It really is that simple. Trust "God's Plan for your Salvation" and He will lead you to your destination everytime. Have a blessed day. LOVE Rachel Jackson.

Youth Sunday School Class 10:00am.
What have we learned so far this month?

We started off with the Bible - What is it? God's words to man. We took a look into the New Testament and Old Testament. We learned that the Bible has 66 books written by several people. Like a living library written just for us. We did a Bible scavenger hunt. Seeking and finding people in the Bible.

We learned about the Law of Moses in the Bible. The Five books of the Law or the Pentateuch. In the Hebrew language this is the Torah which means the Law or Instructions.

We went into more detail about the Old Testament and who is in there. God's chosen people you wouldn't think he would have chosen to accomplish many great things.

We learned about the poetry of the Bible in Psalms and Proverbs. We even made a Psalm of our own writing about the blessing of God and sharing our thanks to him. Did you know there are actually five books of poetry? JOB, PSALMS, PROVERBS, ECCLESIASTES, and SONG OF SOLOMON. Wow

We learned about the major and minor prophets and how they brought the good news that Jesus was to come. Or they would have prophecies of other things that came true. Divine visions, dreams, or interactions that lead God's people where he wanted them to be.

Finally, this past Sunday we learned about Palm Sunday and what it was about. Jesus riding into Jerusalem on a colt/donkey. Everyone showing him the attention he deserved as the King he is. The significance of this is, when he rode into Bethlehem, he was inside his mother riding on a donkey as well. He rode in were they brought the sacrificial lambs to be slaughtered. As we all know thus was soon to be Jesus fate for us. The final sacrificial lamb and the only thing worthy enough to cover all sin. Even though they knew not what they were doing, God and Jesus knew exactly what needed to be done for us all.

How fun are all these sessions. Join us Sundays at 10:00am for Youth Sunday School ages 12 to 17 taught by Sister Rachel Jackson.

Hope to see you there and bring your friends. Learning about Jesus is cool...

Food for Thought...In our adult Sunday school class we learned about World Peace through Mutual Understanding.
Using background scriptures in Isaiah, John, Acts and Ephesians we learned of the wisdom of God in Isaiah 2:2-3

Isaiah was able to look past all the noise around him and seek the truth from the Lord.
Why do people today have such a difficult time hearing from the Lord for their answers? What evidence have you seen or heard that shows Jesus is making Himself known to people of all nations?

We then looked to the Prophecy of Peace in Isaiah 2:4

How might we encourage others to live in God's peace even when war and problems are all around us? Think about ways Christians could be offering peace with Jesus to all tribes and nations.

In Acts 17:26-28 read about the relationship you have with God.

"For in Him we live, and move, and have our being." We are His offspring.

Join us Sunday mornings at 10:00am for more amazing discussions and leave full of the word of the Lord.
