Day 8 - Association Emphasis Month

Today, we are praying for our Hope of the Gospel Team and their work. The name is to help us with our ministry team acronym REACH, but this team is all about missions and evangelism. From the communication of opportunities that our churches are taking to association wide events, this team covers it all. The main area that our Hope of the Gospel team is involved with is our HMBA Disaster Relief Team. These awesome volunteers from many different churches answer the call each time there is a disaster in our communities, state, nation, and at times the world.

Please lift up this team and their work with our churches to take the gospel to the lost and dying. If you would like to be a part of this team or your church would like help in being a part of mission opportunities please reach out directly to Pastor Brad Kerr.

Welcome to Association Emphasis Month for HMBA. Each day I will share something about our association that you can pray about or use to encourage others. I will post these across our social media accounts.

We have been working through a time of refocusing in our Association. We are narrowing our collective efforts to be back on the local church. The statement we are rallying around is that "Every church has the biblical responsibility to disciple Great Commandment believers who fulfill the Great Commission together in/with the Body of Christ."

Please pray that we would see each church carrying out this responsibility within our association. If you don't know if your church is currently doing this, let's set up a time to talk.
