What if God is calling you to the other side—but you're letting obstacles hold you back?

This Sunday, missionaries Dave and Marie shared powerful stories from Guatemala's Teen Challenge ministry, where women trapped in addiction and abuse are finding freedom in Christ. From Carla, who drank a gallon of whiskey daily, to Esmeralda, who lost both parents at age four—God is transforming lives through ordinary people who said "yes" to His call.

Moses had a moment at the burning bush. Joshua heard "be strong and courageous" five times before leading Israel. What's your moment? Maybe you had one years ago that life buried under disappointment and distraction. Or maybe today is your first encounter with God's specific plan for your life. You're never too old or too young to serve Him.

God doesn't need your perfection—just your availability. He takes what's in your hand, blesses it, and multiplies it as you distribute it. Will you turn aside like Moses and let God speak? The movement starts with a moment of surrender.

When life feels like it's falling apart and the enemy seems to be winning, remember David's journey up the Mount of Olives. He wept all the way up the hill, defeated and mourning. But when he reached the summit—the place where people worshiped God—everything changed.

Your perspective doesn't have to be determined by your problems. When you see God in the middle of your worst moments, God gets bigger and the problem gets smaller. David went from rehearsing his pain to declaring victory before it even happened, saying "You HAVE defeated my enemies" while they were still coming after him.

Stop whining up the hill in defeat. Start worshiping at the top. God is your shield, the lifter of your head, and the one who restores you to your calling. Whatever you're facing today, find Him in worship and watch your perspective shift from fear to faith.
