So, our youth group has some details regarding an open house/get to know you event. Trying to gauge the interest before I move forward. We are looking at Sunday, October 23rd. Early afternoon. Our plan is to have a bowling outing at one of the lanes in boardman. Food, drinks, shoes and lanes all covered by Redeemer Lutheran Church. Ages 12-17. The main focus of this post is to see how much interest there is, because we have to pay a set fee, no matter how many show up. Please let me know. The plan is to bowl, get to know each other, ask questions and create our meeting schedule and events we may want to do in the future. Thanks.

Good morning Austintown. Beautiful Monday morning. Not sure if this is ok to post, hope so. I am the youth ministry leader of Redeemed Youth Ministry at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Austintown. Now that fall is amongst us and our crazy summer schedules are behind us, we're putting our plans in motion for our group. Ages 12-17. We are accepting of all. We are not your typical youth group. We have tons of open dialogue, put things in today's perspective, how things relate to our youth, now. Whether you are devoted in your faith, unsure, no faith at all, or not even from the Lutheran teachings. Message me if interested and look for more details to come. Have a great day

Had a quick question. We had posted about our new youth group, redeemed Youth Ministry a few weeks back, regarding our Open house meeting. Didn't go so well, but we think the date and/or time may be why it didn't. It was a Wednesday night at 6. We were thinking of trying again, with a different time. Perhaps a Sunday, from 2-4? Anyone have any thoughts about that? Thanks.

We are looking for ideas and accepting all input. After an uneventful evening, we are soliciting info from anyone and everyone on what we can do to bring young adults to our youth group. Things we can, places we can go, people we could have show up that may interest them. Any ideas are welcome and appreciated. Thanks and God bless

Major disappointment. 45 minutes into our meeting and not a single person has stopped in. The only young adult here is my child. I was hoping for a great turnout but I guess it wasn't in the cards. Will have to consider what the future holds and where we go from here. Thanks for the prayers and support. God Bless

Here we are on the eve of our first meeting. All set up and ready to go. I pray that tomorrow night our chairs aren't as empty as they are in these pictures. I pray that the young adults in our community give us a chance, try us out and tell others. I pray that they want to be part of something special, something new, something different. 4 days and counting to the beginning of something new, something great. An opportunity for young adults from any faith or no faith, to come together, build fellowship, ask questions, give and get answers, have fun. There are no obligations, just an Open house meeting to share info, get to know each other and start a new, unique and informative youth ministry. Thanks and look forward to seeing you all.

Please help spread the word. Just 6 days remaining until our Open house meeting for our new Redeemed Youth Ministry Austintown at Redeemer Lutheran Church. Our meeting is Wednesday, April 27th, 6pm-8pm @ Redeemer Lutheran Church -Austintown, route 46. We will have games, prizes, food, details about our group. All are welcome, ages 11 1/2 to 17. We are trying to create an environment for young adults to get together, ask questions, build relationships, have fun. Please check us out. This will not be your typical youth group. We are taking a new approach, doing things a little different, but still learning about our Lord and savior Jesus Christ, the bible and many other topics.
