Forge Austin

Forge Austin Helping people to think and act like missionaries in their everyday life... We shape people to see the truth we see in Scripture… you’ve already been sent.

FORGE AUSTIN SERVES LOCAL CHURCHES, AND PARTNERS WITH UNIVERSITIES AND SEMINARIES, TO TRAIN MEN AND WOMEN TO LIVE AS MISSIONARIES ON THEIR CAMPUS, AT THEIR WORKPLACE AND IN THEIR NEIGHBORHOODS. NEW RESIDENCY STARTING JANUARY 2017

Through a 6-month training residency, events, and local church leadership training, we shape people to live as the sent people of God where they have already been plante

d. We work with men and women in local churches, both small and large, to see that they are called to join God in His work in the everyday spaces of their lives—in their neighborhoods, their workplaces, gyms and campuses. In order to do this, Forge Austin cultivates missional community throughout the city by identifying, developing, and nurturing missional leaders. Forge does not plant churches or run ministries, but instead trains missionaries to thrive in whatever context to which they are called. Through grass roots residencies, church transition consultation, seminary programs, and missional training and networking events, the Forge tribe is investing their lives for missional movement.

The pins represent Forge practitioners in the Southeast and the Southeastern states giving to the 50/50 campaign are highlighted in green. As a statement about how God is moving across our country, we're aiming for 50 gifts from 50 states by year-end. Would you join us in this work?

Forge America trains and resources everyday missionaries all around the country. To keep fees low for our training and resourcing, we rely on contributions from supporters like you. We'd love for you to join us in cultivating missional practitioners all across the country.

**Missional Friends & Family**

Our hope is to support everyday missionaries all across the country, in all 50 states. To do so, we are asking for your help in financially supporting our work with a year-end gift.

Here are my requests:
1. Give a gift, whether small or large, as your generosity will make a significant impact within the Kingdom. Y'all Texans out there, I'm tossing down the gauntlet! Let's show 'em all that, just like our magnificent state, the generosity of Texans is larger than life!
2. We have expressions of Forge in different parts of the country, but there are some places where we have not yet made connections. If you know someone who would support this type of missional work, please share this giving opportunity. Let's work towards the goal of receiving contributions from all states in the country.

When you make a gift, let us know where you are gifting from so we can celebrate God's work throughout the country.

What are the new and necessary narratives that will help leaders journey toward a better discipleship future?

There is no doubt the challenges of this last year have altered the trajectory of discipleship and mission in the church. The landscape we now face is like never before.
To navigate our current cultural terrain to make and multiply missional disciples we will require new tools, new maps, and a clearer vision of the future we hope to see.

Thought leaders and missional practitioners, Daniel Yang & Jessie Cruickshank, join us to not only help us better understand our current landscape but will also provide new and necessary narratives for a better discipleship future.
