Howdy all!
I hope everyone and their families are staying safe amidst all this craziness. As the world changes around us so quickly especially for our Youth, I want to provide some updates on how Youth Group will function during this time.
First I want to let everyone know that I am here for our Youth during this uncertain time. If any of your Youth need to reach out to me for any reason, I am 1000% here for them. Whether they want to chat, or need prayers, or if they need help with any online classes I am here for whatever they need.
Secondly, for our official EYC meetings we will be meeting via Zoom! Each Sunday from 12:00-1:00pm we will host a Zoom meeting for all of our Youth to join. Each meeting will have some fellowship, a game, and we will end with Compline. Please view the flyer below for details on how to access our Zoom meeting. I will also send an email out on Saturday evening inviting everyone to the Zoom meeting, and you will be able to join there. If you know a family who doesn't get these emails, but has Youth who would want to be in our Sunday Zoom meetings, please help them get connected by forwarding that email. If you have questions on how to use Zoom please let me know!
Thirdly, Each Wednesday I will send out a Video lesson and encouragement note for our Youth via email. As parents I need your help in showing these to your youth, and it is my hope that these will help all of us get through this quarantine.
Lastly we are still trying to get a Group-Me (online group chat) established for our Youth, but they will only be able to join that if a waiver form is filled out. If you could fill out the form, and email it back to me we could get that form set up for our Youth. This can help them connect with their EYC friends during this period of social distancing, and would allow for us to send them weekly encouragement directly. Shoot me a message if you need this form, it was also sent out via email.
If you or your family need anything please let me know! I am here for y'all! I look forward to hearing from everyone soon.
Peace,
Nate
