O her spikenard is very costly; and since the time I came in, she hath not ceased to kiss my feet!

Suppose the King tonight came into your home and sat down at your table? O You've been healed of the venomous plague; you've been clothed in raiment of needlework; you've been removed out of your own blood; and, he has said unto your dying soul, LIVE!

Now would you be ready to offer an oblation appropriate for such a King of heaven as this? Are you so sick of love that you could give Him a little kiss, a little tear, and an alabaster box of ointment to anoint his head to the burying? Suppose he came in with his face set like a flint to go to Jerusalem to die --for you!

O thou wretched man, would not 300 pence worth of spikenard be a very small thing in comparison of this? Must He protest against you at the judgment seat saying, "thou gavest me no kiss, thou gavest me no water, thou gavest me no oil?"

Alas, give him whatsoever oblation is proportionate to your soul's precious bounty. Yea, a sacrifice acceptable, well-pleasing to God!

We are rebranding AGC to make the "holiness" statement. In these last days, souls have slipped into abject moral decay while mainstream churches have abandoned Biblical principles, judgments, and sound doctrine. Our answer to this plight is a purposeful marriage of biblical holiness within all of our teachings.

As “a holiness church” we are simply advertising our fierce love for our sweet Savior Jesus Christ! This great love constrains us to keep away from sin at all costs as a bride keeps herself pure for her bridegroom. This is not sinless perfection doctrine - we know that it is possible for us to sin, but it is also possible for us to make a daily decision not to sin. Because we are saved by his grace with precious promises, we take delight in cleansing ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. Our Lord is worthy of our total consecration, sanctification, and love! (Psa 45:13; 2 Cor 7:1).
