I'm so tired.

I know that feeling, don't worry.

I've been there too: the day you just want to curl up in a ball and cry yourself to sleep. You know what I'm talking about, right?

How many times have you woken up from a nightmare and then had to go to work or school? How many times have you been so tired that all you can do is lie in bed for hours, staring at the ceiling, wishing for something… anything… else?

Yeah, me too. But then I realized something: life is worth living! And Jesus is here for us when we need him most—even when we're too tired to ask for help.

He says, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened…" (Matthew 11:28). And what does he say next? "I will give you rest."

God knows how hard it is sometimes—and he wants us to know that he's here for us when our minds are full of worries and our bodies are full of exhaustion. He's ready to lift our load if we'll let him take control of our lives—and he'll always make sure that his burden is light enough for us.

When you say: "I am too tired."God Says: "I will give you rest."I'm so tired.I know that feeling, don't worry.I've been there too: the day you just want to c...

Test or Testimony

I never liked taking tests when I was in school, and I certainly don’t like the kind of tests I have faced as an adult. Plus, as an adult, you seem to face a lot more “pop tests”; the kind you don’t know are coming.

Remember this thought the next time you face a test in your life: “Only God can turn a test into a testimony.” Tests come and tests go, but God’s grace is sufficient for you (2 Corinthians 12:19).

Give God the glory no matter the outcome. For we know that all things (including tests) work together for good for those who love God, those who are called according to His purpose (Romans 12:8). Encourage others with your testimony of how God has sustained you through the tests. That’s the only way to ensure a “passing grade”.

Unknown Future, Known God

We like to believe that we can anticipate the future and make plans as though it is a certainty. One only needs to live for a short time to realize that the future is fuzzy at best. If the future is really uncertain, what are our options? Corrie Ten Boom summed it up this way: “Never be afraid to trust an unknown future to a known God.”

God knows your future. He has already made plans for it (Jeremiah 29:11). And, you can trust Him. Proverbs 3:5 says that you can trust Him with all your heart. And Psalm 118:8 explains that it is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in man.

What have you got to lose? Go ahead and plan for the future but be open to God’s changes. After all, He knows how it is going to play out.

Just As I Am

Just As I Am is a well known hymn written in 1835 by Charlotte Elliott. The opening verse declares that Jesus accepts us just as we are; no need to get spiritually “cleaned up” first.

“Just as I am, without one plea
But that thy blood was shed for me
And that Thou bid’st me come to Thee
O’ Lamb of God, I come! I come. . .”

Romans 5:8 reminds us that “God shows His love for us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” But God loves us too much to leave us the way He found us. Galatians 2:20 tells us that “It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me.”

Christians, once saved, need to leave behind their sinful lifestyle and be conformed to the character of Christ (Romans 8:29). It’s not easy and it’s not quick, but then most good things aren’t. We owe it to Christ to give it our best effort.
