Lost and Found Ministries Unlimited, Inc.

Lost and Found Ministries Unlimited, Inc. A 501c3 non profit organization that serves the homeless of Austin, TX with weekly outreaches consisting of meals and clothing/shoe/sock/toiletries donations.

Suppose one of you had a hundred sheep and lost one. Wouldn't you leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness and go after the lost one until you found it? When found, you can be sure you would put it across your shoulders, rejoicing, and when you got home call in your friends and neighbors, saying, 'Celebrate with me! I've found my lost sheep!' Count on it—there's more joy in heaven over one sinner's

rescued life than over ninety-nine good people in no need of rescue. Luke 15:4-7 MSG

Every Monday at 6 PM we go to downtown Austin to "The Drag" by the UT campus and hand out a meal and other necessities to some of the youth that live on the streets down there. If you are interested in serving with us, please get in touch with us. If you are interested in providing an outreach meal let us know and we will get you more information. If you are interested in donating towards this ministry, you can do so following this link:

It’s ‘Fruitful Friday’!

Did you know that over the last 15 years of our outreaches we have:

*Served 40,000+ sandwiches.
*Given out 80,000+ pairs of socks.
*Served 40,000+ bottles of clean water.
*Prayed over 58,000 prayers.
*Walked and served the streets of Austin about 780 times.
*There has only been 5 Mondays in 15 years that we have not had outreach.
*Countless healings and miracles.

When we first started this ministry, we were told that Austin is where ministries come to die. They don’t last.
BUT GOD!
We are grateful for the last 15 years and look forward to what God will do next in and through us!

Prayers, physical donations and your financial support have kept us afloat and encouraged us over the years and we could not continue on without them!
In this next season we are looking to serve more and do more and this is here you can be a part of what Lost and Found is doing locally and internationally.

Your financial support is huge for us to be able to accomplish the dreams and visions that we have for outreach, transitional housing and international missions.

Will you pray about partnering with us?
Share this post with your groups and friends!
Together, let’s make the next 15 years even better than we have dreamed.
Thank you Jesus for Your Goodness to us. ❤️

With our deepest gratitude,
Jason and Vanessa Everman

August marks our 15th year as a ministry!
What a milestone worth celebrating! 🎉

We are grateful for the journey that God has had us on over these last 15 years.
We have met some amazing people at our outreaches.
We have served next to so many wonderful groups and people.

In the last few years we have expanded to being able to help people through transitional housing.
We have also had a bigger focus on international missions.

Jason and I want to thank you for supporting what God has put on our hearts. We truly could not do any of this without people behind us praying and encouraging and supporting and sending us.

We are looking forward to what year 16 will hold and how God will use Lost and Found Ministries.

There is always a need for people to pray for us and our ministry and be financial supporters.
We can’t grow without you hearing from the Lord on how you can help.
(Donating through our website will give you a tax deductible donation receipt lostandfoundatx.com)
Thank you for 15 years of adventures with Jesus and the city of Austin!
With grateful hearts,
Jason and Vanessa Everman

🙏 PRAYER IS WHERE OUR OUTREACH BEGINS

Before we hand out clothes, share a meal, meet a physical need, or sit down and listen to someone’s story… we pray.

Because our outreach isn’t simply about what we can do for someone. It’s about inviting Jesus into the middle of their story.

Every week as we serve our unhoused friends in Austin, we take time to pray — for the people we’re about to meet, for healing, for hope, for provision, for protection, and most importantly, that they would encounter the love of Jesus.

Sometimes prayer looks like gathering together and praying over the outreach.
Sometimes it looks like placing a hand on someone’s shoulder and praying with them.
Sometimes it looks like simply standing beside someone who feels forgotten and reminding them that God sees them.

We believe prayer changes things.

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
‭‭Philippians‬ ‭4‬:‭6‬-‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Our goal isn’t just to meet a need for a moment.
Our desire is to see lives transformed by the presence of Jesus.

So before we go, we pray.
While we’re there, we pray.
And after we leave, we keep praying.

Because our unhoused friends aren’t projects.
They are people. They are loved. They are seen. They are worthy of dignity. And they are deeply loved by Jesus. ❤️
🙏 Pray with us. Serve with us. Go with us.

Just came up as a memory from two years ago.
This was such a beautiful story. We don’t always get to know the outcome of these stories, but what I do know is that God stepped into their situation in their life in that moment on that day.
I pray that the seeds that were planted have been watered and harvested over the last few years and they are thriving.

Tonight at outreach we met these two people who are a married couple.
Jason was talking to them and they were both crying and really needing something.
He called me over, I was behind the table serving food, and told me the situation and asked me if I would pray with them.

Their story is that they had a house but they ended up not being able to keep it.
They have five daughters and ended up in a hotel room and couldn’t pay the rent on the hotel room today so they are out on the street.
They had to tell their daughters to stay with their friends for the night and mom and dad are going to sleep on the street until they can figure things out tomorrow.
They just happened to see us there when they were walking by our parking lot and came for some dinner.

About 10 minutes before I met them, this person walked up to the table I was at and asked me how he could make a donation towards what we are doing there. I told him that he can do it online or he can give in cash. Either way, it will go towards what we do here. He handed me a $20 bill.
This random person is a UT student that was just walking by and likes what he saw.
I thanked him and then he left.
As I’m talking to this couple, I felt the Lord tell me to put this seed into their hand. I never give money at outreach because that’s just a rule unless the Lord is leading us too.
I told her that the guy walked over the table and he handed me that money as a donation for the ministry.
I then told her that was a seed from God to put that in her hand and it’s just the beginning.
So we prayed and we broke things off and we called out miracles and blessings and all the things over them.
They were both weeping during and after the
Tonight I felt like the Lord was reminding me that He sees us and He knows what we’re doing and that’s all that really matters. Regardless of anyone’s else’s opinions or approval.
God is so good and it always seems like He uses our ministry to speak to us right when we need to hear it.❤️
