Before you head into a new week, take a moment to remember this:

Faith was never meant to be a solo journey.

From the very beginning, God has been about relationship—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. A God who lives in perfect love and invites us into that same love, community, and purpose.

Tomorrow, we gather to celebrate **Trinity Sunday** and explore what it means to live in **"Spirit in Partnership."**

Together we worship.
Together we grow.
Together we serve.
Together we discover what God is calling us to be.

Whether you've attended Old Austin for years, haven't been in church for a while, or are looking for a place to belong, we'd love to welcome you.

🦋 What Happens When God's Spirit Moves? 🦋

Lives are changed.

Hope is renewed.

Ordinary people discover they are part of something greater than themselves.

On Pentecost, God poured out the Holy Spirit. On Trinity Sunday, we celebrate the mystery and beauty of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit working together—and inviting us into that partnership.

Like a butterfly emerging into new life, God continues to transform hearts, families, churches, and communities.

This Sunday at Old Austin United Methodist Church, we will explore what it means to live in "Spirit in Partnership."

Here is my unofficial transcript from my time at Memphis Theological Seminary. Tomorrow I start my beginning chapter with SMU (Southern Methodist University). I am truly blessed.

Also I made A’s in my Chaplaincy classes last quarter and on track for it this quarter. I don’t take the credit. I just let Jesus lead me.

What an incredible night at our Church Skate Night! 🛼🎉
From beginners holding the wall to experienced skaters flying around the rink, there was laughter, fellowship, music, and memories being made everywhere you looked. It was so good seeing kids, teens, parents, grandparents, and friends all spending time together and simply enjoying community. ❤️

Moments like these remind us that church is not only about Sunday mornings — it’s also about building relationships, encouraging one another, and creating spaces where everyone feels welcome and loved.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out and helped make the night so special! We already can’t wait for the next one.

Keep inviting your friends, neighbors, coworkers, and family to join us for future events. You never know how one fun night and one invitation might make a difference in someone’s life.

Join us this Sunday at Old Austin United Methodist Church as we continue our series, Stories That Matter, with the message: “So That They May Be One.”

📖 Scripture: John 17:1–11

In this powerful passage, we hear Jesus praying for His disciples just before the cross. More than anything, Jesus prays for unity — that His followers would remain connected to God and to one another through love, faith, and purpose.

In a world filled with division, fear, and isolation, Jesus reminds us that we were never meant to walk alone. We are called to live as one body, one family, united through Christ.

This Sunday we will reflect on:
✨ The power of unity in the Church
✨ What it means to belong to one another
✨ How Christ still prays for us today
✨ Living as people of grace, love, and connection

No matter where you are in your journey, there is a place for you here.

Happy Mother’s Day from Old Austin United Methodist Church! 💐

Today we celebrate the women who have loved us, prayed for us, encouraged us, guided us, and shown us the love of Christ through their lives.

Join us this morning as we gather for worship, prayer, music, and a message of hope centered around Jesus’ words in John 14:15–21:
📖 “I will not leave you orphaned…”

On a day that can bring both joy and reflection, we are reminded that God’s love remains present with us through every season of life. Whether you are celebrating, remembering, grieving, or simply needing encouragement today — you are welcome here.

Come worship with us at Old Austin United Methodist Church.
