Good Evening, Friends

As I was reading this week's Scripture, one verse stood out to me:

"The fire and wood are here," Isaac said, "but where is the lamb for the burnt offering?"
- Genesis 22:7

What an honest question.

Most of us have asked similar questions in our own lives.

"God, where are You in this situation?"

"Lord, why is this happening?"

"How is this going to work out?"

Scripture reminds us that God is not afraid of our questions. In fact, some of the greatest journeys of faith begin with honest questions asked by people who are seeking God.

This Sunday at Old Austin United Methodist Church, we will continue our series "Forming a Family, Preparing a People" as we explore Genesis 22:1-14.

Together, we will discover that faith is not the absence of questions. Faith is learning to trust God even while we are asking them.

This week's message is **"God Will Provide"** from Genesis 22:1-14.

The story of Abraham and Isaac is one of the most challenging passages in Scripture. It is a story that asks difficult questions about faith, trust, obedience, and God's provision. Yet in the midst of uncertainty and fear, Abraham discovers a powerful truth that still speaks to us today:

**"On the mount of the LORD it shall be provided."** (Genesis 22:14)

Life often brings moments when we cannot see the whole picture. We face trials, unanswered questions, and situations beyond our control. This story reminds us that even when the path is difficult, God remains faithful and provides what we need.

🦋 What Happens When God's Spirit Moves? 🦋

Lives are changed.
