Easter at Midtown 🌿✨

There’s something special about Easter here at Midtown.

You could feel it in the room during worship…
You could hear it our voices as we sang together…
You could see it in the smiles, hugs, and the families dressed in their Easter best, capturing moments we’ll surely remember for years to come.

From the joy and laughter at the egg hunt… to the message reminding us not just that the resurrection happened, but that we can know it to be true:

He is risen indeed.

Not just a story.
Not just tradition.
But a reality we can believe in… and truly know.

And because of that, there is real hope.
And a reason to celebrate together.

Days like these remind us of how grateful we are for this community and every person who walks through our doors. 💛

And while Easter Sunday was beautiful… the invitation to new life doesn’t end there.

All are welcome into the house of the Lord…

Grateful doesn’t even begin to cover it. 🙏🏾
Hearing the voices of our Midtown Family share what they’re thankful for at the Family Retreat was a reminder of how much God has done, and how much we often overlook.

Different stories. Different perspectives. One heart of gratitude. ❤️

As we reflect on where we are today, what are you truly thankful for? ✨

This past weekend at T Bar M Camp in New Braunfels we held our FIRST EVER Church wide Family Retreat, and it was a beautiful reminder that church isn’t just a place, it’s a family.

So thankful for every conversation, every hug, and every moment of connection we shared together.

From the wild team challenges to our reflective quiet times across the beautiful retreat grounds to the truly heartfelt worship together, this retreat was one we won’t ever forget.

Grateful for a community that spans generations and continues to grow together in faith and doing life together.

Midtown truly is a family...

A few pictures from the epic weekend couldn’t possibly showcase all of the good times but we’ll try...

More to come.

What a beautiful day with our Midtown Church family! Earlier this month, we had our Family Business Meeting, which was much more than just a gathering. It was an opportunity to celebrate all that God has done for us, praise through worship, and look ahead with hope.

We reflected on the past year and all the ways God has been faithful to us. We heard powerful testimonies from some of our partners, celebrated the growth of our church family, and cast our vision for the exciting year ahead. There was laughter, worship, encouragement, and genuine connection as we came together as one body in Christ. ❤️

We’re grateful for a community that loves deeply, serves faithfully, and seeks God together.

The best is yet to come, and we can’t wait to walk into this next season side by side.

Earlier this summer, our men came together for an incredible dodgeball game—full of laughter, friendly competition, and genuine connection. It’s not just about the game; it’s about building strong bonds, encouraging one another, and growing in faith together. Grateful for moments like these that bring us closer as brothers in Christ.

Baptisms. Testimonies. Worship and so much more.

Celebration Sunday here at Midtown was a glimpse of Heaven on Earth. 🙌 We came together as a family to recognize how God has been miraculously changing lives — bringing hope to the hopeless, healing the broken, and rewriting stories all for His glory.

As we heard from our church members and celebrated their journeys, we were reminded that God’s love never ceases to pursue us. There’s no greater JOY than walking this life of faith together.

Are you looking for a place to belong? You’re always welcome at Midtown!

Join us for service this Sunday and every Sunday at 10:30 AM — we’d love to meet you.

Grateful for the unforgettable time spent at the Men’s Retreat in the beautiful Hill Country of Texas this past February.

Surrounded by nature, brotherhood, and peace, we had the space to disconnect from the noise and reconnect with God.

This trip was more than just a getaway—it was a time to build strong bonds, share stories, and hear clearly from the Lord in the stillness.

Grateful for every moment, every man, and the sacred space to listen, reflect, and grow.🙏📸

I can still hear the music playing through these photos…

“Let there be dancing in the darkness
And let our song break through the night
Lift your voice and sing that Christ is King
For Jesus is Alive…”

A hard truth about living in a broken world is that we will all be wounded. No one makes it through life without being hurt by others.

The real question is—when you are hurt, how will you respond?

We often hear the phrase, “Hurt people hurt people.” It rings true because it reflects our shared experience. But it’s not the only path.

Not all people go on to hurt others—some are able to break the chain.

How? The power of Forgiveness.

This Sunday, we’re continuing Week 2 of our current practice from the way of Jesus: Forgiveness.

We’ll explore how the forgiveness we’ve received through Jesus empowers us to forgive others.

You’re invited to join us—no matter where you are in your journey.
