🌳Important news… the Downtown Zilker Park Hang is coming up! Here’s some important info you need to know:

What: A casual hangout for people that are new to our church and for people that have been coming to our church for years. This is for college students, singles, married, and families to attend! Anyone is welcome!
Where: Zilker Park
When: April 13, 4-6PM

🏖️🚐 The Beach Reach of our dreams✨

We spent our spring break in South Padre Island telling people about Jesus, praying, and growing in deeper friendships! Some honorable mentions: Sir VANcelot, McDonald’s, van sing a longs, a flash mob, & so much more!

🌿This past Sunday, we learned that joy & sorrow—both are part of our walk with God.
The Bible speaks with raw honesty about life’s highs & lows, and Jesus Himself experienced both.

Romans 12:15 calls us to ‘rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep,’ reminding us that celebration reflects God’s goodness while lament invites us to bring our grief before Him. Both are holy habits that root us in His presence, no matter the season!

💭What is fasting? Fasting is abstaining from something that is good temporarily to grow and deeper our desire for God.
College can present countless distractions and diversions from our relationship with God. Fasting invites us to pause and seek His presence.

And now…the ONE…the ONLY… Jonah Irmen!!!! Jonah is one our 2nd year residents (which means we only get a few more months with him 😢)! Anonymous sources say Jonah has had a mustache since birth. may be able to confirm. Need confirmation from Jonah. Sources also say that Jonah can be found anywhere near a frisbee. In all seriousness, we are so thankful for Jonah and all he does for this ministry!

Yesterday we learned that service isn’t just about doing good—it’s about sacrifice. Serving is about elevating others’ needs above our own, even when no one sees. Jesus didn’t come to be served, but to serve🤍
