Our last service at St. John’s Presbyterian Church was today. With spring weather and lots of old and new friends attending, it was nice to say thank you and goodbye to each other. We shall miss worshiping together.

David and Sue brought in the Bible and lit the candle. Betty volunteered playing pretty music. Joyce read the Old Testament scripture. Pastor Ryan gave the sermon. And when it came time to bring out the flame and carry the Bible, Lydia came to help.

Happy Sunday Everyone! Today we worshipped together and shared our last pot luck. We are greatful for flower sales, wonderful bell ringers, beautiful music, an inspiring sermon, and great cooks. We have two more Sundays to worship together.

George and Eliza rang the bell, David and Eliza lit the candle and carried the Bible, Katie read the Bible verse, and Pastor Ryan preached on the first three chapters in Genesis. Jamie played beautiful music throughout the service. It was followed by a pot luck that included chili and football favorites. Despite the drizzling rain we also saw several deer in front of the sanctuary before the service started. It was a good day to be in the house of the Lord.
