Next Chapter Reno Update: The pews are out! 🔨

One more step toward our move later this summer. These beautiful old pews found new homes at Coupland Dance Hall, a church in Smithville, and with a few local individuals; including a few determined soul who somehow hauled a pew away in a Prius. 🙌🏻

Thanks to everyone who helped clear the space and give these pews a second life. More updates coming soon!

"The God who sees me." - Hagar, Genesis 16

She's one of the quietest figures in scripture, and the only person in the whole Bible who gives God a name. Not from a mountaintop. Not from inside the household. From the wilderness - after she'd been used, mistreated, and sent away.

Sunday's message in our Stories from the Margin series sat with her. With the kind of God who shows up in the places we'd rather not go, and who sees the people we're tempted to overlook.
