“Come after me, and I will make you fishers of men.” 🎣

This past weekend, young men from across the Diocese of Austin gathered for Fishers of Men, a day retreat hosted by the Office of Vocations to discover the gift and privilege of the priesthood. Through fraternity, formation, and time alongside priests and seminarians, they had the opportunity to grow in faith and consider how the Lord might be calling them to follow Him.

The joy of the BELOVED! ❤️‍🔥

This past weekend, women from all over the diocese gathered for Beloved, a day retreat hosted by the Office of Vocations, to encounter the Lord and discover the joy and beauty of religious and consecrated life.

We are so grateful for the religious women and priests of the Diocese of Austin whose presence, witness, and continued support make these beautiful encounters possible. Thank you for sharing the joy of your vocation and reminding us all what it means to be God’s BELOVED!

Our priests have a unique proximity to Christ, and for Josh, that nearness is one of his greatest hopes as a seminarian.
To learn to love with His heart. To see the world as He sees it. To draw nearer to Him through the sacraments in a way uniquely entrusted to the priest.
For Josh, the priesthood is ultimately a desire to be close to Christ, and, from that closeness, to bring others closer to Him.

If you feel a tug towards this desire, the Office of Vocations is here for you. Email [email protected] for more.
