Christian Compassion Center, Inc We serve families in need by collecting gently used furniture and in-kind goods from local stores, community partners, and donors.

We provide free, quality furniture and essential household items to help create safe and comfortable homes. Over the past three years (through July 2013), via volunteer and collaborative efforts, C3 was able to provide $1,260,000 of donated materials to the city’s under served community. We currently have two distribution centers (East Austin and Cedar Park) and looking to expand into Lake Travis and South Austin with the help from our partners and supporters.

Helping others get to a place in their life after catastrophe that they give back, too.

“The most fulfilling thing is to come over here to Stephanie’s house, to give her a washer and dryer, give her a mattress -- and say ‘why do you do this?’ Because God loves you. And we love you too,” said Mark Shackelford, the Executive Director of the Christian Compassion Center.”

After seeking refuge in Austin after Hurricane Harvey, evacuee Stephanie Myers shares her story.

"We were excited to receive this testimony from Pastor Mike from First Independent Baptist Church.

Thank you so much for the ceramic tile donated for the floor of our fellowship hall. After the flood of 2013 it took 18 months to fully recover and now after 20 months from the 2015 flood we are now around 98% recovered with very little left to do.

Bro. Molina and Victory outreach had this material stored and made it available to us a couple of weeks ago. We could have never of finished this area without the partnership of Home Depot, Austin360 and C3 ministries. Thanks so much for you help and commitment to the community, churches, and individuals who need help the most."

Christian Compassion Center still engaged with mattress donations. Our 1200 mattresses program being fulfilled and committed to our partners in need. Hopes and prayers are we can continue to acquire more as we see the need.

The Single Parent/ Community Outreach event was a huge success and we look forward to future partnerships with the CRC. Beneficiaries of C3's partnership with the Christian Resource Center expressed praises and gratitude and told stories of answered prayers. Other local non-profits like Christian Family Counseling Services and Leander First Baptist Church and the Cedar Park Police Department joined us in providing necessities for struggling families.
