40 Years Ago Today📸On September 2, 1986, St. Theresa Catholic School welcomed its very first students for the first day of school. 🏫

A few things may have changed over the past 40 years, but the heart of St. Theresa remains the same . . . and the uniforms haven’t changed much either! 😆

Forty years ago, STCS students gathered in faith to begin a new school year. Today, we’re still learning, praying, and growing together.

And one month from today, on October 1, we’ll celebrate the Feast of St. Thérèse of Lisieux and another Little Way Day together.🌹

SCHOOL MASS 🔥 Holy Spirit 🔥 On Friday, St. Theresa Catholic School celebrated the first mass of the school year, the Mass of the Holy Spirit, asking the Lord’s blessing on the 2026-2027 school year. We prayed for His guidance, protection, and for our community to be filled with His Spirit. Father Larry gave the students, faculty, and staff a special blessing as we begin this new school year together. 🙏

The Holy Spirit is God’s power alive in the world. Father Larry practiced the sign of the cross with the community.

🤚We place our hand on our forehead for the Father . . . as the Father is the head of everything.

🤚We place our hand on our chest where our heart is . . . because Jesus is at the heart of our faith.

🤚We place our hand on one shoulder across to the other shoulder . . . showing that God is also the Holy Spirit who is everywhere at once. 🙌

Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and kindle in them the fire of your love. Amen!❤️‍🔥
