Estimados comisionados y estimadas comisionadas a la 227ª Asamblea General de la Iglesia Presbiteriana (E.E.U.U.):
El Caucus Nacional Presbiteriano Hispano/Latino se regocija con su elección como personas comisionadas a la 227ª Asamblea General. Este es un privilegio que conlleva una profunda responsabilidad y un compromiso significativo con la vida y misión de nuestra iglesia.
Por medio de la presente, el Caucus se complace en invitarles a una conversación y orientación en español sobre el funcionamiento de la Asamblea General, los asuntos que se presentarán y discutirán, y las expectativas para quienes sirven como comisionadas y comisionados.
Reconocemos que, para algunas personas, esta será su primera experiencia participando en una reunión de la Asamblea General, lo cual puede generar preguntas o incluso cierta ansiedad. Nuestro deseo es acompañarles, ofrecer claridad y brindar un espacio donde puedan recibir información útil para su participación plena y efectiva. Asimismo, abordaremos algunas de las propuestas que podrían impactar directamente los ministerios hispanos.
La orientación será ofrecida por la AG Flor Vélez-Díaz, Gerente de Proceso Judicial de la Oficina de la Asamblea General.
A continuación, encontrarán el enlace para unirse a la sesión. La orientación se llevará a cabo el:

It is my honor and privilege to share the good news about the Rev. Blanqui Otaño receiving the 2026 Woman of Faith Award. Blanqui is the first Puerto Rican , in fact the first Hispanic , Latina to be ordained as a Minister of Word and Sacrament back in 1975 in the United Presbyterian Church USA. I’m blessed to have had Blanqui as my pastor when I entered my process of ordination . Blanqui has been an inspiration and a model for the Puerto Rican and other Latinas Ministers of Word and Sacrament that followed on her footsteps , and also to generations of Puerto Rican Presbyterian women.
