The unseasonally warm winter we have been enjoying/or not, is coming to an end this weekend. Rain arrives on Friday, with temperatures dropping overnight into the low 30's, which is likely to bring icy conditions such as freezing rain. Saturday's high is 34 degrees with A LOW OF 16 DEGREES into Sunday morning. If you have a home, it's time to cover those outside water faucets. If you park your car outside, Friday night may be a good idea to cover the windshield with a blanket or cardboard. If the ice is as bad or worse than forecast, power outages can be common. It's a good idea to get to the grocery store ASAP to avoid the deluge of people who will likely be clearing the shelves.

We will be keeping a close eye on any severe weather conditions that may impact the men's fellowship on Saturday afternoon at 3:00PM and Sunday morning services.

Today Eric Solis and I visited Frank Blackburn, and his #1 Eddie, at his beef jerky booth. He sets up every Saturday at the Farmers Market at 2132 N Mays St in Round Rock. He smokes it weekly and vacuum seals it. DELICIOUS, TENDER SMOKY GOODNESS.
