A letter to STX Youth Leaders and Students,
I watched you change a city.
I watched your serve.
I watched you pray.
I watched you give.
I watched you worship.
I watched you lead.
To every leader.
Thank you. Thank you for leading your students. Thank you for having the attitude and mind of Jesus this past week. Your sacrifice made a difference in the lives of teenagers and people in Salt Lake City. I saw so many answering questions about who we were and why we were there, and talking to people about Jesus. You showed up consistently. Heaven is gonna be crowded because of you. You represented your Church so well, but most importantly you repped Jesus.
To every teenager.
Thank you. Thank you for being you. Thank you for allowing Jesus to move in your life this past week. Your manners in Salt Lake, your heart in Salt Lake made a difference this week. So many conversations came about in the streets of SLC because of how polite you were, because of your joy, because we sound like we are from South Texas. God used you to make a difference. Remember, the best choice you can make is to stay fiercely authentic for Jesus, rather than living inauthentic just to fit in.
Now, let's change South Texas.
Because, God is doing something new.
Let's go!
