We see PromiseLand as a church chosen by God to raise up an army of Holy Spirit empowered witnesses of Jesus Christ in preparation for His coming Kingdom. Each believer must be matured into their ministry and deployed to carry the gospel message to every place on earth, beginning at Austin. Our Mission: We must

We must offer every living person the opportunity to become a disciple of Jesus Christ and to partner with His purpose in the earth. Our Values: We value

* We value God, seeking to worship and glorify Him together; and entertain His Presence among us.
* We value People, seeking to do justice, love mercy and walk humbly with God and each other. We must honor and defend the image of God in every human being; and especially in every believer. Injustice demands action. Evil demands rebuke. Love produces sacrifice.
* We value truth, seeking to rightly understand, proclaim and obey the Holy Bible as God’s final Word on every spiritual and practical matter.
* We value our heritage; seeking to embrace the richness of our revivalist roots in the American Pentecostal faith tradition out of which we were conceived. For more than half a century, our church has served as both an emblem (to the world) of this outpouring, and as a beacon (to the church) of how effective cultural engagement can look—without compromising the core of our message or expression. By God’s grace we can lead the way for other believers, setting an example of faithful fervency and dynamic, passionate worship that is grounded in a Spirit-filled expression, while pioneering and embracing the cutting-edge of methodological progress in our evangelistic approach.

Kingdom living looks different! We aren’t called to conform to the world, but to reflect Jesus in everything we do.

📖 Mark 9:33–50 | Matthew 5:13–16

🔥 Greatness is serving, not striving for status.
🔥 Check your heart before criticizing others.
🔥 Stay salty. Shine bright. Live set apart.

The world has its standards, but the Kingdom has a different way. We are called to live with humility, love with purpose, and walk in obedience.

Urgency doesn’t mean hurry. And being different isn’t the goal—reflecting Jesus is! 🙌🏽

Pastor Shules, you are a true visionary, and always thinking about what’s next. Your dedication to lead, build, and prepare the way for what God is doing next keeps us moving forward.

Pastor Brooke, your gentle spirit and strong leadership are a rare combination. You lead with grace, love people well, and somehow make strength look gentle.

Pastor Frianita, the way you steward the business of the church is a ministry all its own. Your wisdom, diligence, and attention to what happens behind the scenes help create the space for ministry to happen in front of the scenes.

Pastor Randon, you’re not just building a church; you’re building people and building a team. Your commitment to leadership development and bringing people along with you is part of the legacy you’re creating.

Pastor Jonathan, your energy and creativity to help uplift, encourage and inspire pulls out the best in us and creates capacity for us to build different!
