AI LUNCH & LEARN | Thanks to COO Chris Treadaway for giving our 55+ family a wonderful afternoon today! We had a full house, as he shared highlights from his AI conference at the Vatican, talked about the Popes new encyclical, and walked us through how St. Theresa is already using AI on campus at the church and school. Chris gave us a good reminder that AI is not for every situation, and shared a few examples of when AI is useful (spreadsheets) versus where human authenticity is superior (writing). Good food for thought! St. Isidore of Seville, patron saint of technology, pray for us to be leaders in using AI for good.

SOLEMNITY OF THE SACRED HEART | Today we celebrate one of the most beloved feasts of the Church, the Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus. His heart, opened for us on the cross, is the source of every grace and mercy we need.

Join St. Theresa's pledge of 250 collective hours of adoration, Rosary, or works of mercy to pray for the unity and healing of our nation by July 4th. https://tr.ee/xlTJTd09k6

CONSECRATION TO THE SACRED HEART | πŸ’“ June is the Month of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, and today is a historic day. The U.S. bishops are consecrating the United States of America to the Sacred Heart of Jesus to mark the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.

You can watch the livestream today at 3:00 PM CT on the USCCB YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/live/jlWyC4TSeoo

We are inviting every St. Theresa parishioner to spend one hour with our Lord in adoration or in service to someone in need. Whether you visit an adoration chapel around the Diocese or spend time before the tabernacle here at St. Theresa, every hour counts. Together, let's reach 250 collective hours for 250 years of our nation's history. Want to make a personal or family consecration in your home? https://tr.ee/U-iuL0flgT

OUR SAFE SPACE | What a day in the rainforest! Today at VBS, our explorers discovered that God is our safe space through bubble play, edible shelter-building with graham crackers, frosting, and coconut, and a surprise visit from Father Barry, who showed he has some serious dance moves when he joined us for our theme song!

Every craft, every giggle, and every bubble floating through the air pointed our kids to the truth that they are seen, known, and safe in God’s love. Our explorers also met Dottie the Ocelot, who reminded us that just like an ocelot watches over her young, God surrounds us with safety and protective care.

Our little missionaries are also making a big difference beyond our walls! This week we are raising money through Cross Catholic Outreach to help plant fruit trees for families in South America. If your child feels called to give, bring some allowance money tomorrow!
