Standing with Central Texas: Ways to Support Flood Recovery
Our neighbors in Kerrville, Uvalde, and surrounding communities are facing another difficult recovery after July’s flooding.
Many families and organizations were still rebuilding from the devastating floods of 2025 when their communities were struck again.
There are several meaningful ways we can respond to support our neighbors.
Serve: Volunteers are urgently needed in Kerrville over the coming weeks to help clear debris, remove damaged materials, and address mold. Mo-Ranch is developing a partnership with Presbyterian Disaster Assistance to house volunteer groups at a discounted rate and connect them with projects suited to their abilities.
Give: Financial gifts can support First Presbyterian Church of Kerrville’s flood-recovery program, First Presbyterian Church of Uvalde, Mo-Ranch’s volunteer-housing ministry, or Presbyterian Disaster Assistance’s long-term Texas flood recovery.
Pray: Please pray for those who have lost homes and livelihoods, for exhausted community leaders and first responders, and for all who are once again facing the long work of recovery, fostering hope and unity.

Together, we can remind our neighbors that they are not forgotten and do not face this recovery alone.
