Genesis Presbyterian Church We are a little church with a big heart! Worship is at 11am on Sundays. All are welcome. Really. It's traditional-ish - we sing hymns and pray prayers. Jesus did.

There's a sermon. We are hybrid now and most folks join via Zoom. Pastor Mandi leads worship from the Sanctuary, so if you want to come in person you're more than welcome. Dress is casual. Jeans are just fine. We encourage folks to remove their shoes during the service. Participate to the degree you feel comfortable. Children are welcome in worship. We also have a nursery if you/they prefer when a

ttending in person.. We welcome everyone. Hope to see you Sunday! Meet Rev. Mandi Richey, our pastor!! Mandi was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA, but got to Austin as soon as she could in January 2011. She relocated here for her husband’s job. She is the mother of two wonderful children, a boy and a girl. She went to Geneva College in Beaver Falls, PA, where she earned degrees in Youth Ministry and Speech Communication. Then she attended Pittsburgh Theological Seminary, where she earned a Master of Divinity, graduating in 2006. While at seminary, she was humbled to receive two preaching awards: the Walter P. and Anna L. McConkey Award in Homiletics and the Robert M. Ezzell Homiletical Prize. She has been ordained since 2008. Mandi is currently working on a Doctor of Ministry at Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary in the area of Public Theology. She has served churches in various capacities since graduating from seminary – as pulpit supply preacher, Christian Educator, contemporary worship leader and associate pastor. Mandi has been at Genesis since October 2016. Mandi is passionate about spiritual development and faith of folks of all ages, as well as being committed to reaching out to and connecting with the community and neighborhood. Her greatest hope is that every person will feel valued and welcomed.

Before coming to Genesis, she as an Associate Pastor for Children’s Ministry another church here in Austin. Mandi has been at Genesis since October 2016. Mandi is passionate about spiritual development and faith of folks of all ages, as well as being committed to mission (both at home and far away) and planning and leading in worship. She is really excited to be at Genesis and ready for what God has in store for us as we journey together!
