Higher Dimension Church of Austin (HDCA) was organized Wednesday August 23rd, 1999 by Bishop Sid D. Johnson had a vision of a church dedicated to quality ministry built upon growth and faith – one that exceeds the boundaries already broken - where unity and spiritual development are abundant. From that vision Higher Dimension Church of Austin was born. HDCA launched out with its first service as a
bible study class with only 10 charter members. This service was held at 15801 Rustic Lane, the home of Pastor & Sister Derrick Smith. On August 27th, 1999, Higher Dimension Church of Austin held its first official service in a hotel conference room in south Austin, Texas – services continued on at this location for 3 1/2 months before moving to Summit Elementary School. In May of 2003, Higher Dimension Church of Austin moved one step closer to their destiny by opening the doors to the east Austin community at 1310 Salina Street, where the late Elder C.H. McNeese formerly presided, where HDCA is currently located today. Prayer, growth, and elevation have continued to give tangible evidence that GOD’s hand is upon Higher Dimension Church of Austin. October 17th, 2009 marks the date that the founder of Higher Dimension Church of Austin, Sid D. Johnson went beyond being the Pastor of Higher Dimension Church to become a Bishop in the Lord’s House headquartered at Higher Dimension Cathedral. GOD’s word declares ”I will give you houses you did not build and land you did not fill” as long as we continue to work what we have. Since its meek beginning over a decade ago Higher Dimension Church of Austin has continued to flourish.
