Have your grocery bills been high? You’re not alone–food banks are seeing an uptick in demand. But they’re also struggling with rising food prices and a lull in donations. Austin Vida and Decibel got a chance to see how Dove Spring’s only permanent food bank (Impact Now Dove Springs) is trying to bridge the food cost gap for their neighbors.

A friend of mine, Beatrice Molina, who has attended Teri Road in the past and was recently attending Family Kingdom church now meeting in that space, died on Sunday. Sadly, she had no life insurance and her children don't have money to bury her. They are raising what money they can selling food to pay for her funeral. I'm reaching out to family and friends, the body of Christ, to ask for donations to help show the love of Christ to this family. Please pray and ask the Lord how you can respond and be the hands and feet of Christ. Please make donations to Teri Road and all funds will be taken to King Tears Funeral home. Funds have to be paid by June 18th. You may mail checks to Teri Road, 1844 Teri Road, Austin, TX 78744. You may also Zelle funds to Teri Road. Message me and I will provide the phone number. Thank you for your prayers and help to this family. I know the Lord will bless your generosity!

Our Food Pantry will be closed tomorrow, 10/14. The Mobile Food Pantry will be at KIPP from 9-10:30am.
