In October 2016 the English Ministry of Primera Iglesia Bautista Austin was officially recognized in a church vote. The vote stated that the English ministry would include but not be limited to a worship service and in that vote, Luis J. Vasquez was called to pastor that ministry.


*"First Baptist Church" is the literal translation of Primera Iglesia Bautista and is the English speaking ministry of Primera Iglesia Bautista Austin.
