What does “Berea Goshen” mean? In Acts 17:10-12, the Bereans welcomed Paul’s teaching but then they also searched the scriptures to make sure that what they were being told was indeed so.
“Goshen” in Exodus 8:22 represents the land of exemption from the curse. We are called to raise a church of people who are sticklers for the Word of God and consequently enjoy the benefits

of the New Covenant. Berea Goshen church is called to teach believers how to live a victorious Christian life by using their faith on purpose, like a mechanic uses a tool. There are biblical faith principles that apply to every area of life. We believe that being taught these principles and applying them methodically will bring desirable results in every area of life.

Beloved, Jesus has forgiven us of our past and future sins.

Beloved,
Did you know that there is no sin issue for the believer! There isn’t? No!
Jesus broke the power of sin! Jesus took care of the consequences of sin! Jesus has forgiven us of our past, present, and future sins! 2 Corinthians 5:19. Anyone who thinks that is a license to sin is not serious and is self-deluded! It is a licenses to love Jesus more!
The issue is Righteousness-Consciousness! A 24-7, all-the-time consciousness that because of the blood of Jesus, we are right with God, are His children, walk in His company and house Him in our spirits! Thus, acts of sin are utterly devoid of class, and beneath our dignity!
The more we walk in this kind of consciousness the less we will yield to the pressure to sin by word, action or inaction, acts of commission or omission!
How do you develop this kind of consciousness? Get to know the Lord better by spending MORE TIME with Him in the Word.

Beloved,
During the making of the movie Chariots of Fire, Charlton Heston reportedly had a hard time learning to drive the chariot. He finally did learn how to do it but told the director that he didn’t think he could win the race.
The director reportedly told him not to worry about that. “Just stay in the race. I will see to it that you win! I have pre-arranged victory for you!” Glory!
Beloved, don’t forget, in the midst of the devil’s taunts, that in real life Jesus has pre-arranged victory for you! Ephesians 2:10. Jesus will see to it that you win! Just stay in the race and run like He tells you to, according to the script of scripture. Jesus is your director in the movie that is life! Hallelujah!

Declare God's will

Beloved,
Back a few years ago, I had an adventure in faith in my garage. I found a bird in the garage trying desperately to get out by two glass spaces in the wall of the garage that are only designed to let light into the garage. There was no way the bird was going to be able to get out through either of them.
So, I tried unsuccessfully to use a broom to shoo it out through the open garage doors directly across. The harder I tried the more frantic the bird tried to get out through the glass, and it was about to wear itself out and perhaps drop dead. I became frantic…the bird was desperately slamming against the glass.
I thought about praying to ask God to have the bird find the two open garage doors but decided instead to use my authority.
So, I said “I declare that the bird finds the open garage doors…before I could finish, the bird turned and flew right through the open garage doors. Hallelujah! I used my authority as a believer!
Beloved, we are not called so much to “pray for God to do” as we are called to “declare that which is the will of God“ and watch Him perform it!
It wasn’t God’s will for that bird to die in my garage! It was God’s will for it to be free! It is not God’s will for you to die young, for you to be poor, sick or depressed. So, declare the will of God and watch Him perform it, hallelujah!
