Beloved,
In Luke 10:40 Martha accused Jesus of not caring, Imagine that! Ostensibly, she so wanted to be a good host and “take care” of Jesus that she missed the most important thing and was offended at Jesus and Mary.
Mary was not helping her in the kitchen, and Jesus did not care that she wasn’t! Am I the only responsible person here, Martha thought!
Actually, she was the most irresponsible person of the three! Jesus was doing what He was supposed to be doing…teaching the Word. Mary was doing what she was supposed to be doing…listening to Jesus teach the Word.
Only Martha was doing what she was not supposed to be doing…worrying, carrying care and being in strife with others.
Mary had no care about lunch. Neither did Jesus! Martha, on the other hand was full of care about lunch! She was “careful and (consequently troubled) about many things, not just lunch, wow! It is impossible to worry about only one thing! It is a disease that spreads all over!
Like Martha, there are people who think that worrying is being responsible! For a believer, worrying is trying to play God! You are doomed to fail miserably every single time!
So, don’t do it! Say, “Father I cast the care of this on you. I will do about it only what you tell me to do.” Then go ahead and be care-free in the name of Jesus

Beloved,
More on “asking.” “Asking” is not saying “God please give me a better job” and then God decides if He will say “No, Yes or Wait a while.”
No, “asking” is first finding out what God has said in His Word about your situation. If you don’t know, you are not ready to “ask” yet. Then you go to God with what He has said about the situation. Then you release your faith by declaring that you believe that you receive what God has said! 2 Chronicles 20:1-12.
God has already given everything you could ever want or desire. God gave it 2000 years ago when Jesus died and was raised…that is your guarantee!
So, “asking” is a process by which you receive, it is a receiving process because the “giving” has been done. The request has been granted if it is according to God‘s Word, hence everyone that “asketh,” receiveth! 1 John 5:14-15.
“Asking” is not what you do before God can grant your request, “asking” is the process by which you receive that which God has already granted. “Asking” is acting in faith so that you can receive.

Beloved,
Let us talk about asking. Jesus said in Luke 11:10 that everyone that asketh receiveth! EVERYONE? Yes, everyone! We too often make it too hard. So hard it seems God is stingy! He is NOT! 1000 times not.
We should ask in Faith and not waver. James 1:6. Totally doable. We should not ask to fulfill an ungodly desire. James 4:3. Check.
Then we should have confidence that He heard and answered us (1John 5:15) and maintain that confidence until it comes to pass. Because it will! Nothing to it! He IS a promise keeper and has said “yes and amen” to His promises! 2 Corinthians 1:20.

Beloved,
Did you know that ingratitude was the original sin? It was! Lucifer was not grateful for his position! He ranked 4th all-time and was as high as you can be… right after Father, Word, and Holy Ghost! But he was not grateful!
He had to be number one (Isaiah 14:13-15) and that got him put to number last after Father, Word, Holy Ghost, Man and Angels!
Beloved, do not forget to be grateful for where things are and for where you are. It could be worse! The Father is not finished with you yet. With your cooperation, it WILL get better. But, let's be grateful for where we are. Philippians 4:6.

God Loves You!

Beloved,
God loves you! There is nothing you can do to stop Him from loving you! His love for you is based on a decision He has made all by Himself without any regard to what you do or not, or how you are.
However, the question is, does God like you? Does He like the way you talk? Think? Does He like the way you treat people? The way you think of yourself? He will never leave you or forsake you, but does He like your company? Does He enjoy hanging out with you? Do you even hang out with Him or do you go through your day and never even talk to, much less WITH, Him?
Are you friends with God or a fair-weather friend of God?
God loves us, but we should all want God to like us! We should all want to be God’s BFF!
