Congregational Church of Austin We are an Open and Affirming congregation in the United Church of Christ in Austin, Texas. Sunday services begin at 11am with Joys & Concerns following.

We are currently hybrid, offering in-person and livestreamed service on YouTube. Virtual participants can join Joys & Concerns via Zoom after the livestream ends. We are affiliated with the United Church of Christ, a progressive Protestant denomination that promotes the spiritual growth of all its members, the open and affirming inclusion of all people who wis

h to be church members, and justice and peace within society. The Congregational Church of Austin lives out these ideals through its worship and through small group spirituality programs that include Bible Study, a meditation group, a Christian discipleship support group, and various discussion groups dealing with contemporary issues. We are an Open and Affirming church, which means all people who love Christ are welcome to participate in our worship life and ministry. Our outreach ministry includes ministry to the homeless and a variety of justice advocacy projects. We work closely with LifeWorks Street Outreach to provide a daily drop-in center for homeless youth. In conjunction with Micah 6 Ministries, we offer freeze-night shelter in the winter. We also work with Austin Interfaith, the Workers Defense Project, the Equal Justice Center, Texas Impact, and the Interfaith Environmental Network on issues involving worker justice, fair and just immigration reform, and environmental justice. Before we begin our own personal internal audit season, we pause to remember that from dust we came and to dust we will return.
