Did you know? The Mother Church in Boston hosts a beautiful summer concert series that’s perfect for the whole family!

If you’ll be in Boston this year, consider stopping by Pipes on the Plaza, a series of uplifting organ concerts featuring one of the world’s largest pipe organs and internationally celebrated musicians.

🗓 2026 Upcoming Performances (12:15–12:45 PM):
• June 30 – Stefan Donner (Vienna, Austria)
• August 11 – Joshua Boyd (Dallas, TX)
• October 12 – Bryan Ashley (The Mother Church, Boston)

These concerts are a wonderful opportunity to pause, reflect, and enjoy inspiring music in a peaceful setting right at The Mother Church plaza.

Whether you’re local or just visiting, this could be a meaningful (and fun!) addition to your summer plans. Feel free to invite friends and family to share in the experience!

Holding onto a grudge can feel justified, but does it actually bring peace?

A recent Christian Science Sentinel article explores a freeing idea: forgiveness isn’t about excusing wrongdoing or changing someone else, it’s about finding healing in our own thought. True release comes as we let go of resentment and discover the peace God is already giving us.

As one Sentinel article puts it, forgiveness “has only to do with the peace you find in your own heart.”
Christian Science shows that we’re not stuck reliving past hurts. Our identity is rooted in divine Love, which continuously renews and restores. As we turn to God, even long-held grudges can dissolve, replaced by a deeper sense of freedom, compassion, and wholeness.

What if letting go isn’t losing something, but gaining peace?

What barriers have you been told are “just the way things are”? History and spiritual understanding tell a different story.

When Bobbi Gibb courageously ran the 1966 Boston Marathon despite being told women couldn’t, she didn’t just challenge a rule, she exposed it as never truly valid. In the light of divine Truth, limitations based on fear, material assumptions, or history lose their authority.

Christian Science points us to a higher law, the law of God, divine Mind, that governs each of us. This law isn’t restrictive; it’s liberating. It reveals that strength, intelligence, endurance, and purpose come from Spirit, not from material conditions or human opinions.

Mary Baker Eddy wrote, “Divine Love cannot be deprived of its manifestation.” That means nothing can truly block the expression of good in your life, or in anyone’s.

Progress isn’t reserved for a few extraordinary individuals. It’s natural. It’s spiritual. And it’s available to each of us as we listen for and trust God’s direction.

Today, what limitation can you begin to see differently?

What if the good we’re seeking isn’t fleeting or far away—but already present, spiritual, and everlasting?

“In thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.” (Psalm 16:11)

It can be tempting to chase happiness through changing circumstances or material things, yet those moments, however beautiful, come and go. Christian Science invites us to look deeper—to discover the lasting joy that comes from God, Spirit, the true source of all good.

As we gently loosen our reliance on material definitions of success, pleasure, or security, we begin to feel something more enduring, more satisfying: a spiritual sense of life that reveals goodness as constant, fresh, and unfolding.

Christ Jesus taught that the kingdom of God is within us. That means the peace, purpose, and joy we long for are not distant—they are discoverable here and now. Even the simple joys we experience each day can point us to something greater: the eternal, unchanging good that God is continuously expressing.

This week, consider where you’re looking for good. Could it be closer—and more enduring—than it seems?

Finals week can feel like everything is piling up at once…deadlines, expectations, late nights, and pressure to keep pushing harder. It’s easy to feel like it all depends on you.

But what if the answer isn’t pushing harder… it’s turning to God?

In a recent article from Christian Science Sentinel—TeenConnect, Amarachi Ejimadu shares how, in the middle of overwhelming responsibilities, she chose to pray instead of panic. She writes, “Yielding to God brought me joy and peace… it reassured me that everything would be fine.”

She also found strength in a simple, spiritual shift—recognizing that God, as the source of all good, is truly in control. That trust echoes the Biblical promise that God is governing all things with care.
Through prayer, patience, and gratitude for even the smallest progress, her whole outlook changed. What once felt unmanageable became purposeful, and even joyful.

✨ A reminder for this week:
- Pressure doesn’t define who you are or what you’re capable of.
- God is guiding and sustaining you.
- There is joy, even now, in the process.

As Amarachi discovered, “Patience, expressed through gratitude for the small things… [reminds us] that I can trust God when life feels out of control.”
Take a moment today to be still, listen, and trust. Let gratitude lead the way, one step at a time.

You’ve got this—with God. 💙

This week, we’re really loving the reminder from Lisa Rennie Sytsma that the smallest things we do can still be part of something much bigger.

In her article, she points to Paul’s encouragement in the Bible: “Whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men” (Colossians 3:23). When our thought is turned toward God, even ordinary moments—our work, responsibilities, or daily interactions—can express care, integrity, and love.

Mary Baker Eddy also highlights how this spiritual perspective shaped Jesus’ life, writing that “the Christ … entered into the minutiæ of the life of the personal Jesus.” In other words, spiritual purpose wasn’t separate from everyday life—it was present even in the smallest details.
