Closed out this job in Caldwell County with a single sow that had kept her distance up until now. We kept the trap baited and gave her time to get used to the set up. The bait got the better of her last night. 177 # when she went across the scale.

Stacking them up off this exotic breeding ranch. 4th drop out there bringing our total removed to 102 head. So far 11 hogs have broken the 200 # mark and 6 of those were over 250 #.

More hogs on a different day! Set this trap a little over a week ago for a new HOA client in SW Travis County that had a couple of sows and some small pigs that were very trap shy and were not able to be caught during their last round of trapping. They came in last night and we caught all 9.

I’ve been after these hogs for just over a month now. The HOA was doing a lot of clean up work from the July floods along the river and we thought they had moved on. A seasoned trap and regular baiting brought them in.
