Message by Rev. Dr. Abel Ukachi Amadi, General Superintendent, Assemblies of God Nigeria, At the Dedication of the Anioma District Ultra-Modern Secretariat Complex

Text: 2 Corinthians 6:1-2

MAXIMIZING THE GRACE OF GOD.

“We then, as workers together with Him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain…”

The dedication of the Anioma District Ultra-Modern Secretariat Complex was not merely the commissioning of magnificent buildings; it was a celebration of God’s grace made visible through sacrificial service, faithful stewardship, and unwavering commitment to the Kingdom of God.

Ministering on the theme “Maximizing the Grace of God,” the General Superintendent of the Assemblies of God Nigeria, Rev. Dr. Abel Ukachi Amadi, PhD, challenged believers to faithfully utilize every measure of grace God has entrusted to them.

He reminded the congregation that every Christian is a co-worker with Christ and therefore has the responsibility to ensure that the grace received from God is never wasted.

“God is looking for valuable sons and daughters—people whose lives bring profit to His Kingdom. Every one of us has received grace, but the question is: What are we doing with that grace?”

The General Superintendent emphasized that grace is never given for personal comfort or recognition alone. Rather, it is entrusted to believers so that they can positively influence lives, strengthen the Church, and advance the Kingdom of God.

Referring to the dedication projects, he described everything the congregation witnessed as “grace put to work.”

He commended Rev. Dr. John Aniemeke and his family for allowing God’s grace to find practical expression through the construction and donation of the Ultra-Modern Secretariat Complex and its accompanying facilities.

According to him, this remarkable Kingdom investment demonstrates what happens when believers refuse to receive God’s grace in vain.

Grace Must Produce Kingdom Results

Drawing from Ephesians 4:7, Rev. Amadi explained that God gives different measures of grace to different people. While believers may not possess equal resources or opportunities, every Christian has received enough grace to make a meaningful contribution to God’s work.

He warned against comparing oneself with others, stressing that what matters is faithfulness in using whatever measure of grace God has given.

Whether one is a pastor, professional, entrepreneur, civil servant, or church member, God expects everyone to employ their gifts, abilities, influence, and resources for His glory.

Grace Grows Through Use

Using the Parable of the Talents in Matthew 25, the General Superintendent explained one of the fundamental principles of God’s Kingdom:

Grace increases when it is faithfully used.

Those who put their gifts into service receive even greater opportunities from God, while unused grace gradually loses its effectiveness.

He encouraged believers not to bury their talents but to faithfully invest them in advancing God’s Kingdom.

“No one becomes poor because he gives to God,” he declared. “God continually increases those who faithfully invest in His Kingdom.”

Four Lasting Impacts of the Anioma District Secretariat Project

Rev. Amadi highlighted four significant impacts of the dedication.

1. The Project Has Brought Honour and Glory to God

Quoting Haggai, he reminded the congregation that God instructed His people to build His house so that He might be honoured and glorified.

He further cited 1 Samuel 2:30:

“Those who honour Me I will honour.”

He declared that because Rev. Dr. John Aniemeke and his family had honoured God through their sacrificial giving, God Himself would continue to honour them.

2. The Project Is a Powerful Tool for Evangelism

The General Superintendent described the Secretariat Complex as one of the greatest forms of evangelism.

He noted that while believers proclaim Christ with their lips, visible demonstrations of God’s goodness often speak even louder.

The magnificent facilities testify that the God Christians serve is alive, faithful, and still blessing His people.

Projects like these become undeniable evidence of God’s faithfulness and inspire many to trust in Christ.

3. The Project Has Lifted Heavy Burdens from the Church

Rev. Amadi observed that the generosity displayed through the project had removed enormous financial and administrative burdens from ministers, church members, widows, and future generations.

Instead of continually struggling to provide basic infrastructure, the District now possesses facilities that will serve the Church for decades.

He described this as grace becoming a blessing to an entire community of believers.

4. The Project Provides a Platform for Future Kingdom Growth

The General Superintendent emphasized that the Secretariat Complex is far more than an administrative building.

It is a strategic Kingdom centre that will facilitate leadership development, ministerial training, conferences, retreats, evangelism, discipleship, and future expansion of God’s work.

He encouraged the congregation to view the project as a foundation upon which greater Kingdom exploits will be built.

Rev. Amadi urged every believer to seek fresh direction from the Holy Spirit concerning the grace God has already placed upon their lives.

He encouraged Christians not to wait until they possess extraordinary resources before serving God.

Instead, they should begin faithfully using whatever God has already entrusted to them.

Quoting Zechariah 4:6, he reminded the Church:

“Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit, says the Lord.”

He declared that God accomplishes extraordinary things through ordinary people who surrender themselves completely to Him.

Following the message, Rev. Dr. Abel Ukachi Amadi formally dedicated the Anioma District Ultra-Modern Secretariat Complex to the glory of God.

Together with members of the Executive Committee of the Assemblies of God Nigeria, he offered special prayers for the family of the late Rev. Christian Aniemeke, asking God to continue to comfort, preserve, and strengthen them while sustaining the legacy of faith he left behind.

He also prayed fervently for Rev. Dr. John Aniemeke and his family, declaring increased grace, divine favour, supernatural provision, long life, and continued usefulness in God’s Kingdom.

He proclaimed that they would be like trees planted by rivers of water, continually bearing fruit in every season, and that the remarkable achievements witnessed during the dedication were not the end, but only the beginning of even greater works God would accomplish through them.

The service concluded with thanksgiving and joyful celebration as the General Superintendent dedicated the magnificent Secretariat Complex and all its facilities—including the 1,000-capacity auditorium, administrative complex, six-bedroom solar-powered duplex, event hall, transformer, borehole, Starlink internet system, standby generators, security posts, public conveniences, and the additional seventeen plots of land—to the service of God.

The presentation of a brand-new 18-seater Toyota Hiace Bus by Rev. Dr. John Aniemeke as a dedication gift to the Anioma District crowned the historic occasion and further demonstrated the message of the day: God’s grace is best expressed when it is faithfully maximized for His Kingdom.

“To God alone be all the glory.”

THE ANIEMEKES: LEAVING A REMARKABLE KINGDOM LEGACY IN ANIOMA

A Kingdom Legacy That Will Speak for Generations

"The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy." — Psalm 126:3

History has been written in the sands of Anioma. What many only dreamed about, God has brought to pass through a family that chose sacrifice over comfort, Kingdom over convenience, and eternity over earthly applause.

The Aniemeke family has left an indelible footprint on the Anioma District of Assemblies of God Nigeria. This is not merely the dedication of buildings; it is the establishment of a spiritual landmark that will bless generations yet unborn.

Indeed, Anioma has been conquered—not by weapons of war, but by sacrificial love, Kingdom vision, and uncommon generosity.

Through the instrumentality of Rev. Dr. John Aniemeke, his beloved wife, Dr. Mrs. Chidinma Aniemeke, the entire Aniemeke family, and in partnership with Rev. Chinedum, the Kingdom has witnessed one of the greatest investments in the history of the Anioma District.

Among the extraordinary gifts dedicated to the glory of God are:

- A magnificent 1,000-capacity ultra-modern auditorium.
- A two-storey administrative office complex.
- A fully solar-powered six-bedroom duplex.
- A modern event hall.
- Two security posts.
- A standard public restroom.
- A functional borehole water system.
- A transformer providing stable electricity.
- Free Starlink high-speed internet service.
- Two standby Lister generators.
- Seventeen additional plots of land secured for future expansion.
- A brand-new 18-seater Toyota Hiace Bus presented as a dedication gift to the District.

These facilities now provide a world-class environment for administration, ministerial training, conferences, retreats, accommodation, communication, evangelism, and strategic Kingdom advancement.

This is a practical demonstration that the Kingdom of God advances when men and women surrender their resources to God's purpose.

The Scriptures declare:

«"The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former... saith the Lord of hosts." — Haggai 2:9»

«"And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not." — Galatians 6:9»

«"Honour the Lord with thy substance... so shall thy barns be filled with plenty." — Proverbs 3:9–10»

«"Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over." — Luke 6:38»

«"Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it." — Psalm 127:1»

The Aniemeke family has demonstrated that true greatness is measured not by what one possesses, but by what one dedicates to the Kingdom of God.

Their sacrifices will strengthen the Church, empower ministers, disciple generations, and provide a lasting platform for the preaching of the Gospel until Christ returns.

May the Lord remember the Aniemeke family for good. May their seed flourish. May their oil never run dry. May greater doors of influence, favour, prosperity, and Kingdom impact continually open before them.

Indeed, the Aniemekes have conquered Anioma Territory—not by force, nor by power, but by the Spirit of God expressed through sacrificial giving.

To God alone be all the glory!
