“During the war, the Alliance church was struck by shrapnel—a sobering reminder of how fragile life can be in this region. We praise God for His protection over His church and over our team in the midst of the conflict. Please continue praying for our city, our region, and our country—that the struggles and pain would become fertile ground for the gospel to take root among the spiritually lost and hurting people of the Middle East. Thank you for your faithfulness in giving to the GCF. We are blessed to partner with you in fulfilling the mission of Christ through both the triumphs and the trials of this life.”

“In mid-March, two weeks into the U.S.-Israel-Iran war, the roof of the Jerusalem Alliance Church—which opened in 1913 and is one of the oldest Alliance historic properties—was damaged by shrapnel from a missile. Though no one was hurt, this serves as a reminder of the difficult days that people throughout the region are experiencing. Despite the challenges, the Alliance international workers serving throughout the Middle East continue to work in partnership with Alliance national churches and other local partners to be about God's Kingdom. Please pray that the Lord would continue to open opportunities to share the good news in these days.”
