IT'S ANOTHER WONDERFUL WEEK BY KAYODE S. ELEPE

NO EXCUSES FOR FAILURE

HAPPY NEW MONTH FRIENDS. It’s my greatest delight and a privilege to write to you once again this piece in the FIFTH MONTH trusting God for your increase and strongly believing Him for your divine visitation.

STORY! STORY!!.......ONCE UPON A TIME (I’m sure you remember that). OPRAH WINFREY said “I was r***d at 9”, BILL GATES said “I didn’t complete my tertiary institution.” ABRAHAM LINCOLN said “I used to be a shoe maker.” STEVE JOBS said “I didn’t have food to eat.” TONY BLAIR said “my teacher called me a failure.” THOMAS EDISON said “they said I was a dullard.” Everyone surely has a story, it now depends on whether your story becomes a secret to success or an excuse for failure. It has been said that in life, winners make progress while losers make excuses.

It's important we understand that, it's highly impossible for a man that makes excuses in the face of challenges and misfortune to succeed in life. Pastor Sam Adeyemi in THE SUPER ACHIEVER'S BREAKFAST wrote "the most unproductive idea ever manufactured is an excuse.” Therefore, excuses are produced when we listen to the voice of failures."

JOHN P. FOPE, a man born without arms and hands, a motivational speaker and a trained counselor in his very challenging book titled, "WHAT'S YOUR EXCUSE." Said "...even when faced with seemingly insurmountable odds, all are within reach." HELEN KELLER was the first deafblind person to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree, she was an author, lecturer, political activist and a composer. NICK VUJICIC, a man born without arms and legs, a motivational speaker and the president of an NGO in Australia in his invaluable literature titled "LIFE WITHOUT LIMITS" said "I do believe my life has no limits."

Indeed our lives have no limits and no excuses for failure, I am sure that was why Mark Twain once wrote "There are a thousand excuses for failure but never a good reason." Whatever our excuses are, they are not good enough.

Success is an interplay of the choices and decisions we make, let us therefore take bold steps this month towards achieving dreams and fulfilling destiny, start that business, enroll for that class, read that book, attend that conference, be committed to the things of God, maximize the moment and take responsibilities for your eventuality. It’s a wonderful Month and not a Month to make excuses.

YOU WILL SUCCEED.

IT’S ANOTHER WONDERFUL MONTH BY KAYODE S. ELEPE

THE ACT OF GIVING

HAPPY NEW MONTH FRIENDS, I’m indeed glad to write to you in this Month of Joy and gladness as validated in the book of Zech. 8:19 “…..Thus says the LORD of hosts; The fast of the FOURTH MONTH, ……. shall be to the house of Judah joy and gladness, and cheerful feasts;….......” Keep believing God for your INCREASE, i can assure you that He will never disappoint you. I AM A LIVING TESTIMONY.

For the brevity and space, I will like to quickly share my thoughts over the past few weeks with you in the school of insight. I have come to realize that our God does not have favorites in the context of the word ‘favorite’; if He really does then everyone is a favorite of God because there is no variation with God, for He said….. The same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him… (Rom. 10:12). ….With whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning (James 1:17) and God is no respecter of persons (Act 10:34). Therefore, it will interest you to know that God does not love one believer more than others, the difference in men is the amount of light that they have and the extent with which they are working in that light, and so you and I simply prosper to the degree of our LIGHT.

Brethren, please understand that our sense of GIVING is one of the mysterious lights that differentiate us as believers. Giving to God and His works is the greatest way of provoking divine intervention in our lives and destinies. Our degree of prosperity and reception from God anchors on our sense of giving to His works. If any amount of money is too big to give to God’s works then I believe God will be too big to commit such into our hands. In real sense, God does not need our resources, giving is simply a channel to receive from Him.

It was written about John D Rockefeller, one of the wealthiest men who ever lived in America; He was a Church janitor and a man known to be fully committed to giving to God’s works. Henry John Heinz was the producer of the largest farm products in his time, it was written on his tomb “Henry Heinz, a Churchman, an industrialist and a philanthropist” because of his massive act of giving to the things of the Kingdom. Brethren, Our names have to be written somewhere in history.

Any platform to give to God’s work is an opportunity to be blessed. Here comes an opportunity at RCCG, Dayspring Center, Aurora to provoke divine blessings on your life and to make a mark on the sand of time, It is an opportunity to build a $1.5M COMMUNITY CENTER that has a place of Christian worship, a city of refuge, an institution that will outlive us and be an enduring legacy and a platform to be a blessing to our community. Friends, endeavor to be part of this and I can see God moving you further and upgrading your level in this new Month. Remember, an avenue to give to God is an opportunity to be blessed.

GO FURTHER IN HIS MIGHT, YOU WILL SUCCEED.

IT'S ANOTHER WONDERFUL MONTH BY KAYODE

PRIORITY, THE KEY TO YOUR DIVINE POSITION

Happy! Happy!! New Month Friends, it is my greatest delight to see you excel in the second month of the year and you shall surely MARCH into God’s fullness in the new Month. The Scripture speaking in 2 Chr. 15:10; “they all arrived in Jerusalem in the THIRD MONTH of the FIFTEEN YEAR……. I see you and your household arrive at your divine position in this Month.

I observed and I read over the past few weeks that the importance of PRIORITY in the school of impact cannot be overemphasized. By priority, i mean the way we organize our lives, what takes the first place in our lives, what we seem to give precedence in our lives and most importantly, the position we place God and His purpose for our lives.

Friends, please understand that "IF YOU DON'T HAVE PRIORITY, YOU WILL SOON LOSE YOUR AUTHORITY." Therefore, our degree of impact, our level of achievement and fulfillment anchor on how best we can prioritize. It will surprise you to know that, what we give the first place in our lives cannot be concealed, it's like character, it's seen all over us; you don't have to spend the whole year with a man who is money oriented in everything before you know that is his priority in life; it's all over him and it speaks a lot about him.

The position we place God is of high importance, and it matters most to Him, remember He said…I’M A MOST JEALOUS GOD (Exo. 20:5) and as such we need to be conscious of where we place God in our lives per time so as to attain our position in destiny. Dr. Paul Enenche said "THOSE WHO PLACE GOD INFRONT OF THEM, OCCUPY THE FRONT PLACE ON EARTH and THOSE WHO GIVE GOD HIS PLACE, DON'T STRUGGLE FOR A PLACE IN LIFE." So, your place in God determines your place on earth. The same way He positioned Daniel in Babylon, Joseph in Egypt, Queen Esther in Persian Empire and David in the courts of King Saul, the same way you shall be positioned in this Month.

Brethren, please understand that Activity is not necessarily Accomplishment likewise busyness does not equal Productivity. JOHN C. MAXWELL in his book titled “21 IRREFUTABLE LAWS OF LEADERSHIP” emphasizes the Pareto principle which states that “if you focus on the activities that rank in the top 20 percent in terms of importance, you have an 80 percent return on your effort.” In real sense, you don’t necessarily have to be over-occupied with activities in order to succeed, you only need to prioritize.

Let's therefore prioritize our activities for the week, put God first in all we do, be committed to our assignments for each day and dare to take steps towards achieving our dreams because SUCCESS is a JOURNEY not a DESTINATION, it is a PROCESS not a PRODUCT, I believe it is in our DAILY ROUTINE. HAPPY NEW MONTH TO YOU ONCE AGAIN.

FORWARD MARCH; GO FURTHER IN HIS MIGHT…… YOU WILL SUCCEED.

IT'S ANOTHER WONDERFUL MONTH BY KAYODE S. ELEPE

OUR WORK AND SENSE OF RESPONSIBILITY

Happy New Month Brethren, I’m glad to see you go further and I strongly believe God that this new month will bring about INCREASE & UPGRADE and indeed a month to GO FURTHER. I count it a privilege to write you this short piece as a way being part of your success story in this new month. If the WORK of a man determines his WORTH, then I suppose we address our attitude to work and our sense of responsibility with utmost alacrity.

I'm sure the One who created us has not given us assignment, purpose or work to suffer us, frustrate us or to make us miserable but to showcase His divine ability in us. He likened man to a building and a building where no one lives is sure to dilapidate likewise a man who does no work is sure to decay. Bishop Oyedepo said "DON'T SEE WORK AS PURNISHMENT BUT AS POLISHMENT." It's for the refinement of destiny. Please, understand that God’s promises are always accomplished with a sense of responsibility, therefore, it is not enough to only pronounce “OUR YEAR TO GO FURTHER” but also key into the responsibility attached as individual and as body of Christ so as to be partakers of His promises.

The former Prime Minister of United Kingdom, Sir Winston Churchill said “Responsibility is the seed for greatness.” It is the key to possibility, the door to authority and the secret that unveils opportunity; its efficacy cannot be overemphasized. It is therefore important for us to remember that success is not hereditary and failure is not genetic, it simply takes being responsible for the great commission that is empowered by the great commandment as said by Pastor Gary Hines that guarantees our greatness in life. Jesus never called any of His disciples idle, David was busy taking care of the sheep and Joseph was busy interpreting dreams when God commits them and brought them to limelight because He only commits responsibilities to the responsible. So God is not looking for the able but the responsible. If you are responsible and not able, be sure to be enabled for the assignment. Therefore, accept the responsibility and God will supply the ability.

Friends, it's imperative you understand that God gave man WORK before FOOD because He's aware there is no ACCOMPLISHMENT without COMMITTMENT, so fasting & prayer is not a substitute for diligence but a catalyst for greatness. My mentor, Dr. Paul Enenche said "it's your DUTY that assist your DESTINY, it's your LABOUR that makes you LEADER, your EXCERCISE brings EXCELLENCE, your EFFORT determines your EFFECT, your MOVES determines your WAVES and TO SEE SUCCESS, YOU MUST RELEASE EXCESS." You can inherit MONEY but you cannot inherit SUCCESS because success is a CONSEQUENCE not a COINCIDENCE. He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand but the hand of the diligent maketh rich (Prov. 10:4).

Can you imagine a trailer doing the work of a bicycle? Although it’s working but that is a waste of potential, so getting a job does not connote work, you and I are simply not working if we are still producing less than the capacity and potential God has deposited in us. I therefore urge you this Month not to be complacent, not to arrive too soon but to stretch out of your comfort zone and be committed in FULL CAPACITY to the great commission, to your work and assignment and dear to take RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR EVENTUALITY.

GO FURTHER, AND I SEE YOU SUCCEED THIS MONTH.

INIQUITY does more harm to humanity than you and I can imagine, it answers to one of the reasons the present youths seems unproductive and weak; not only physically but also mentally, intellectually and as such, it cannot be overemphasized if you and I desire a CHANGE in our world.

A friend in his post coined out from the "Seed of Destiny" said "the greatest enemy of VITALITY is INIQUITY." I'm sure you now see why you and I needs to call ourselves to order. The youths have been created not just to fulfill destiny but also wired with strenght, vitality and mentality to be path finders, trail blazers and road makers; we therefore need to desist from iniquity to be part of the change our desires.

INIQUITY corrupts MENTALITY, it diminishes PERSONALITY and destroys DIGINITY. My good friend, Babajide Afeni, the author of "the secrets of high flying student said "iniquity might be pleasurable today but it puts gravel in the mouth tomorrow." You will not be a waste.

YOU WILL SUCCEED.
