CELEBRATING JUNETEENTH!
We will always celebrate with our Black brothers and sisters. It’s a holiday for those who have slavery in their history, and it’s a celebration for our country of when an injustice was made right.
Here’s why
🔴 Emancipation was already provided, but slaves in Texas hadn’t heard yet. JUNETEENTH commemorates the day the news was delivered.
⚫️ We will always celebrate when people are set free from bo***ge. That’s the Christian story too.
🟢 We celebrate physical freedom with our black brothers and sisters who have slavery in their history, because we’ve been given spiritual freedom. Freedom is what it’s about!
