As we enjoy time with our loved ones and commence our online shopping, there are steps you can take to stay ahead of scammers. Bad actors are crafty and will contact you pretending to be government representatives, utility company workers, or Federal Bureau-Investigation (FBI) employees.

Never... NEVER provide your sensitive personal information or passwords to questionable sources or any source or caller you do not recognize. We would suggest that you hang up and call the company or business directly when you receive suspicious calls.

Hang up and call the number that called you back. Many times you find they are accessible and the number is fake. Callid and Call ID numbers can be easily spoofed during calls by scammers.
