Welcome to Christ Lutheran Church in Aurora, Ore., a community of believers that is alive, hopeful and active in Christ. Christ Lutheran Church is a member congregation of the Oregon Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America. We are rooted in the traditions of our community and faith, and we are relevant in today's world. We are located in the midst of Aurora, Ore., a city that prides it

self on its history and pioneer spirit. Aurora was founded by a colony of seekers, intent on building an authentic Christian community. The colony was known for its hospitality and for the way it members cared for each other and for strangers in their midst. We like to think that some of that spirit remains part of who we are today. At the same time, CLC is a community of faith excited about what God is calling us to be now and into the future. We believe that God is calling us, through worship, fellowship, prayer, and service, to discover our place in the world. We invite you to join in the discovery.

We are excited to honor our local Veterans this Sunday, November 10th, at 10:00AM. It will include special music for Veterans and a coffee hour to follow. We look forward to seeing you at Christ Lutheran Church!

Worship is on for tomorrow morning (and there will be coffee brought in!), but water is still off while we repair a broken main. There is a porta-potty available for those who might need one. Think of it as an old fashioned camp revival!

Hello!
A Winter Storm Watch has been declared for this weekend. Considering first the safety and wellbeing of our members and friends, we are canceling services for this Sunday morning, January 14th. We are doing this earlier rather than later so that people have plenty of time, especially those serving, to plan accordingly.
